I am serious here... if you would like to Bash Obama that will be the next thread. Right now I would like bullet points on what he has actually done so far.
Also, getting Bush out of office isn't something Obama did, Bush's term limit was up.

I should emphasis Obama's positive accomplishments.
Zeelander: I would agree that he is making an effort to reach out.
Yup, he has reached out, but why does it look like he has nothing to hang on too? Maybe because his accomplishments have been for those holding him up, supporting him, while the rest of America hangs by a thread.

......Hmmmmmm....As an outsider here....I was so impressed when Obama was asked by a reporter ,about that young Lady and it was shown in graphic detail on T.V and you.tube as she laid on the ground and drying ,she was protesting about the elections results in Iran. Obama answer was 'Heartbreaking' and I agree, I also was very upset seeing it and was so angry. That Lady is 'Hero' in my book, she gave her Life to voice and to protest for 'Freedom'.....It shows to me,that Obama, and this is just my humble opinion here,as immense 'Compassion'....something that been sadly lacking into days World......
He hasn't become the butt of jokes on the late night comedy shows as much as President Bush. Something to be said about a President who isn't the butt of a joke.

Agreed Jd she is my hero too as is her Father with whom she was walking and whom witnessed the entire unfodling of events. I never heard if he survived or died as well only that he and she were taking part in a peaceful demonstration. Obama is very compassionate in my book and he did well not to inflame a already volatile situation IMO. J.D

.....Thank you my Dear Friend,My Young adult Daughter and my Son,and myself had tears in our eyes when we all watch that development....and with deep regret, she died.....
Let's see now... He's got all the police and military kitted out with riot gear; he's got nice camps being built all around the country; he's got 500 000 people losing their jobs every month; he's got mandatory swine flu vaccinations up his sleeve for everyone in the country (coz he doesn't want any of you getting the sniffles!); he's given the Israelis the go ahead to blow up Iran; he's been printing billions of dollars of worthless money with nothing to back it up; he's erm.....Well, it's time for you lot to come back over to THIS side of the Atlantic, I'd say...

What has Obama accomplished so far? Let's see, he managed to QUADRUPLE the national deficit in 6 months time, AND on top of that, he decides to RAISE TAXES on the biggest job-producing sector in America. What else? Oh yes, the "Messiah" now wants to spend upwards of a TRILLION DOLLARS on the "Cap & Trade" bill, which is really the ENERGY TAX BILL, to combat the bogus "global warming" (now called "climate change" because the Left knows global warming is a farce).
Add to his quadrupling of the nat'l deficit, doubling of the national debt--causing interest rates on auto loans, mortgage rates, etc to rise, further hurting economic growth--held by the public; almost a trillion dollars on "cap & trade" bill; an additional $787 billion "stimulus" plan; creating as socialist rationing of health care that will cost around $650 billion and LOWER the quality of health care; another $700 billion for the "American Recovery & Investment Act" that brings questionable results and MORE TAXES, ultimately.
Lastly, don't forget about TARP, TALF, and PPIP (the latter is ANOTHER trillion-dollar program set up by the Obama Admin, which is designed to enable public and private investment in buying up troubled loans and securites. Again, why should JOE Q. PUBLIC's TAX DOLLARS PAY FOR SOMEONE'S TROUBLED LOANS/MORTGAGES?!
Add all this up, and it is tatamount to putting HUUUUUUUGE financial burdens for ALL AMERICANS--and for future generations too. If reckless spending equates to stupidity, then Obama is the biggest moron in the world (accentuated by his RAISING taxes, on top of his spending).
Okay.. I told you I'd think about it. And I did. And there is something positive that Obama has done.
Obama managed to get a lot of younger people interested in politics. In taking a stand. In voting. I think that's amazing and important and I love to see young people with a desire to make a change in their world. Regardless of whatever the end result of that may be, I think it's a huge positive!
