I agree a sick African mother is in a much more vulnerable place than a sick European mother who CAN get support..... and so puts a whole new slant on this debate
I love getting flowers..dont get them as regularly as I used to though. My youngest son always sends me a huge bouquet on Mothers Day though...bless him.
Yes but my fear is once the ball starts rolling then where does it stop...cost to the country could start to come into play also and then other handicaps could become an issue...anyway enoughs enough Im away to chat up some men
I hear what you are saying and I cant bear the thought of children suffering but where do you draw the line when deciding who can and who cannot have children? Maybe someone with mental illness perhaps just in case the same thing happens to their child later in life...or maybe someone with spinabifidia...just in case...or maybe someone with the CF gene...where would it end
Well at the risk of getting into something else pretty heavy...i think the UK do okay by a lot of these poor unforuntate people and I think people who sit there and make judgements on whether they should be here or not do not help the situation. These issues are with society 24/7 whether we like it or not.....do you think by eradicating or preventing all this potenital life that we are not just sweeping these issues under the carpet instead of taking them head on??
Of course not....theres none of us perfect...we get through life as best we can and most of us do our best....and Im sure her son is a fine lad and brings her lots of pleasure in her hard times and Im sure she brings lots to him when she is well
i agree it is very sad and my heart goes out to him and as Ive never been in that situation maybe I shouldnt be giving my opinion I just think life is precious jmo
Im not saying its right to have kids if youre addicted to alcohol/drugs etc...in those circumstances the child should be removed from the family home...what I am saying is the child has a right to life....Im looking at it from their point of view. I dont think anyone else has the right to decide if a child should or should not be born once conceived...anyway enough of this for me. Night all
I know it isnt personal my dear....its just personal opinions...doesnt change the way I think of you...we have finally found something we dont agree on....no big deal
Portiea forget social/cultural perception....I am glad I had children and this may sound sad to another female who doesnt wish to have a family but its one of the best achievements of my life and I make no apologies for it.
Reproduction is a big part of what we as humans are all about...nobody should have the right to make that decision for other people...thats all im saying.
Some of the best mothers I know have struggled to bring up their children after their men have pissed off for whatever reason.....and a fine job they have made of it too I have to say..its nothing to do with money.
