Oops that is asking your banker for a loan !!!!

RE: If YOU were interested in someone on CS - would YOU make the FIRST move?

Of course I would make the first move and have. Sometimes the guy
isn't sure so go for it ladies. Just like asking your banker for a
they will either laugh in your face for even thinking that would
happen or toss the papers on the table and say sign here baby. Guess
the banker would'nt call you baby, now would he?

Marriage !!!!!!!

Marriage is not a ritual. It is along, intricate, intimate dance together and nothing matters more than your own sense of balance and your choice of partner.

Friendship

Any time you need an ear to listen. I am available.

Friendship

If I could catch a rainbow
I would do it just for you,
And share with you it's beauty
On the days you're feeling blue
I f I could build a mountain
You could call your very own,
A place to find serenity,
A place to be alone
If I could take your troubles
I would toss them in the sea,
But all these things I'm finding
Are impossible for me
I can not build a mountain.
Or catch a rainbow fair,
But let me be what I know best,
A friend who's always there!!!

RE: How do YOU keep fit?

I started weight lifting a few weeks ago and really enjoy it. Also take a midnight walk every night and started eating healthy. Has made me feel much better about myself and much healthier too.

RE: Bath Tub Sanity Test.

I want the tea cup. Make the water last longer so my friend will have time to sneak in and wash my back. You have some 'splainin' to do Lucy. Oh sorry I kind of drifted off into my own little world there for a sec.

RE: SORRY,BUT YOU WOULDN'T THINK THAT I AM TRYING TO GET ALL THE ATT. WITH MY ALL CAPS!

Wayne, Funny thing I don't recall stating that the hunk a thon post had any substance. Do you need glasses? Go back and read it again. In no way do I think that post has any substance at all and that is why I stay the hell out of it.

RE: SORRY,BUT YOU WOULDN'T THINK THAT I AM TRYING TO GET ALL THE ATT. WITH MY ALL CAPS!

Paws, Hi, long time no see !!!! You have the right idea. What is wrong with these young people? Are there brains on hiatus? Come on children it's time for a time out. Wayne, here's some advice from momma bear. You can take it or leave it. Don't continue to bite. Exactly what the fish are waiting for. Just let them know that isn't your kind of bait and you are too good of fish to take that bait.C'mon son enough is enough. Start a thread that has some substance to it. I don't go in there because I think women have worked so hard to be where we are now, why be little ourselves to think we have to pose in that type of thread to get men to pay attention to us. I might be old and lonely but will never do that. Just my advice.

RE: The Hunting lodge

I worked at an awesome hunting lodge about 90 minutes from where I now live. Had guys mainly from all over. We had elk and buffalo hunts were our biggest and attracted most of the guys. But also had the pheasant hunt. Wild meat is so good if you know how to cook it. During the off season some of the guys that were performing at the rock fest would stay there. Such as Ted Nugent, REO Speedwagon, Lynard Skynard to just name a few. Never a dull moment. Hey girls I did Ted Nugents laundry. Now there is a story to tell there, but will save it for later.blushing blushing

RE: What are your opinions on euthanasia - Big serious thread ... need opinions

Belushi,You really know how to hit home and I don't mean that in a bad way. Advice I would like to pass on is this, everyone have a living will or advance directive in any hospital you may have been in. When my husband passed away a little over 3 years ago it was a horrible experience, one I would not wish on my worst enemy. We had been out of town most of the day baby sitting grand kids. He had complained of not feeling well but just wanted to rest. Mind you this was the love of my life, the man I married at the age of 17 and we were together 36 years. It still breaks my heart, but if this well help even one person then it will be worth the tears I am shedding. When we got home that day we walked in the door to the kitchen, and he collapsed. Got him to the sofa in the living room and I knew he was having a heart attack so I immediately called 911. But he died right before my eyes in just a matter of seconds. When the ambulance got him to the hospital and all 4 of our kids were with me by then I said that he did not want to live on any life support and in my heart I knew without doubt he was no longer with us. They are shuffing all kinds of tubes in every opening they could find with me and our kids watching. The kids are grabbing me saying Mom make them stop Dad doesn't want that. But because he did not have a living will at that hospital I had absolutely no say in his treatment. We had to watch for hours as they worked on him, our kids ready to kill the doctors. Finally life flight came and took him to a larger hospital where by the time we got there they told us he was brain dead.So very important to have that livng will everywhere. The day he died was the day our daughter was buried 10 years earlier. I love and miss them both so very much. The pain in the eyes of my kids will always be with me. Another very important thing to do is learn CPR. You may save a life some day. I did not know CPR and that also still haunts me to this day. Thank you Belushi for posting such s controversial post. Hope this will help someone. Linda
