I started reading it last night, and I'll sum it up this way: live life like a dog, carefree and happy.
The Universe doesn't argue with our beliefs. If you believe it will happen, it will happen. Don't focus on the negative, focus on the positive. Positive thoughts get positive results. Don't use negative wording in your positive thinking, just positive wording. If you focus on "I need" you will continue to need...focus on "I will have..."
I'm continuing to read, just to help me learn to focus this way more, but it's a great book.
Still eclectic...but on this list I was torn between vinyl classic rock and nature sounds...vinyl won...but I still love nature sounds too. I have CD's with a blend of music and nature sounds...very soothing.
I'm such an eclectic mix that there isn't just one...I ooze rhythm from every pore, period!
Rock, soft rock, hard rock, metal, pop, 60's, 70's, 80's, classical, Indie, jazz, reggae...digeridoo...if it's got a beat, or vibrates in my core, I love it. I even like some hip hop and rap...if it's got a good dance beat.
Oh, my...for FL, it's getting chilly, then. Honestly, I'm not jealous of your weather because you guys have the hurricanes and bugs...and you can keep them.
Yeah...I'm surprised that further north isn't getting the snow like we are here. Talked to my dad last night, and he's in the mountains in NH, and they're not getting the snow like I am...seems to be moving west to east.
Yeah...we've had cold and windy the past couple of days. Today was warmer...40 degrees...and it started to melt...but then the temp dropped again and it started to snow. But the wind is gone, so it feels warmer.
I thought I remembered he was flying an Experimental Aircraft. It's always much higher risk...any pilot who flies them knows what the risks are each time they go up...and that one sounds riskier than most. The location of the fuel tank selector is very poor in that description...it's something that should be very accessible to the pilot. He was probably already losing altitude while he tried to reach it...and knocking the nose down would have caused a steep and quick decent.
As you said...RIP, JD...and yes, he died doing what he loved.
Oh, I love small planes...just not that particular model, and those similar too it...too light.
Cessnas and Pipers are a different matter...a little harder for them to go down that way. However, accidents happen.
And I thought John Denver was a widower? "Annie's Song" and all of that...I thought his wife died, and he never quite got over it, and that was the reason for the suicide speculation?
RE: --- Solution- for World Economic Woes
Sounds great in theory...but I wouldn't want to try to live like that. Closer to it, and with more respect for it, though, absolutely!
