I've seen this joke before...still think it's funny. I know some guys I wish I could do that to when they say that, lol! Like it's an honor they wanted me to do that!
How true...unfortunately, many have become "we the sheeple of the United States of America"...and accept the media's lies as truth. It could be too late for most before the threat was scented on the air. I smell it in Obama's choice of Biden for VP.
I know what you mean. You look at a guy's photo who calls himself "average" that I would call "a few extra pounds", or calls himself "a few extra pounds" that I would call borderline obese, and he's looking for "slender, athletic, fit"...go figure.
I don't like men stick thin, tend to like a little meat on them, and wish that more men liked a little meat on their women. I'm in better shape than I've been in a long time, go to the gym regularly, and yet have the same problem. The men I'd like to date aren't interested because there's a little bit extra of me. Thankfully, though, I've found that real men do like it...so keep looking, honey...they're out there, they're just hard to find. When you find the right one, he'll love you just the way you are.
And looks/weight shouldn't be the biggest issue anyway. As we get older those change drastically and won't matter anymore. What will? Whether or not that's your best friend sitting next to you.
Good luck. She already has a hunk of a husband. Though it's not a good reason to vote, if it's why you vote for them, I'll take it! Then you can spend the next 4 years at least drooling...and hopefully 4 more after that.
I just hope that the rest of America doesn't wake up too late. And yes, we outnumber them, but only because of the Second Amendment do we have the ability to change the power in this country.

I have worn them all, and the best for me is the Friendship Ring. The one that is now most bittersweet, the SufferRing...and watching my beloved best friend and husband die after doing lots of it was truly the hardest time in my life. However, I learned and grew a lot during that time. It made me even stronger.
The ones I don't intend to wear again? The Engagement Ring and the Wedding Ring. And we are all part of the Eternity Ring.
Ah, so Palin is not really that bad, after all, right? Barack Osama isn't perfect either...but McCain and Palin are the best candidates we've ever had since I reached voting age. I only voted for Bush as the best of two evils, but this time I feel we really have a strong team for the leadership of this country...and they happen to be Republicans. (Yes, so am I...and proud of it.)
She can't beat Hilary Clinton, and Bill for that matter, as a liar. You want to talk about serial liars? Look at the big guns in the Democratic Party...they've racked up more lies than all other candidates in history put together. Palin may have told one, which makes her normal...that's not bad in comparison.
And we will do what we have to not to have the same thing happen to us as happened to you...and it's because of those veterans who have done those things, and the active soldiers who still are, that we live in Freedom in this country, and have helped to preserve it in many others. "Freedom is NEVER free!"
This is so true...and I already stood beside my best friend (and husband) as he died slowly from cancer almost a year ago. I have picked my friends up, loaned them money and a car, and stood beside them through their hard times. And they have done the same for me.

I can honestly say that if I had reliable information and strongly suspected that these people had the information I needed to protect my people, I would torture them; or, if President, order their torture. I wouldn't enjoy it, but it would need to be done.
I am a veteran of the US Army, and a student of martial arts, and I know that I would do whatever was needed to protect my loved ones, or my soldiers if I was in a position of command. I wouldn't worry about what others thought of it, for that doesn't matter in the end...what matters is whether I can live with what I've done.

Second, I've been married 4 times...lol. When a friend of mine started making "suggestions" about who could be my 5th husband, I just looked at him and said, "Hey, 3 times I chose the wrong men and it ended in divorce, the 4th time I found the right one and he died...I'm not going there again."
Some of us do eventually learn our lesson, lol! I'm looking for a LTR, but not marriage this time.
