Other than visitors from another planet, how do you explain sculptures made by the Aztecs and Incas of men with what we now know to be rocket packs on their backs? And why else would the visit us, unless it were to keep an eye on their creation? How about bullet holes through the skulls of Wooly Mammoths, in a time when earth humans only had spears? Caves carved out of the earth that have no debris, something we can't even do today with lasers, though we're getting close. And the drawings in the earth we've now found that no earth-dwellers could possibly have made...and we've only found them recently thanks to satellites.

And yes, explain why all of the major religions in the world have similar beliefs and tenents...unless there was a common beginning.

I used to own a 1973 Mercury Comet...she was my first car. Totaled her 10 days after I got my license. I bought a 1963 Chrysler Newport next, complete with push-button automatic shift. Really cool car, owned that one for years. Had someone hit me and then she was vandalized while she waited at the shop for me to come up with the money for the repairs and parts she needed. (I only had liability insurance on her.) Both were beauties, and I loved them dearly.

Exactly. Very good...to combat Arianism. A lot of the original bible was taken out, and a lot of things were reworded to benefit the coffers of Constantine by converting the Pagans of the Roman Empire...and then they started taking over the World.

There are three of us girls, and I'm the oldest.

My younger sister is the self-proclaimed black sheep of the family. We were raised to be honest and never to steal. Years ago she told me about the things that she "shwooped" (some term she and her friends came up with for shoplifting back in the 80's, I guess)...and I still don't understand it. She's a single mother of two daughters who have different fathers...and now glad she never got married after watching the baby and I get our divorces. She's very self-centered...the whole world should revolve around her, and does in her mind.

My baby sister grew up as the "perfect Princess" who could do no wrong...our mom always blamed everything on the older two of us and punished us, saying we were older, we should know better. Now she's a snob that even my parents can barely stand at times. (They've learned not to complain to me...I've told them, you created the monster, not me, so don't complain to me about her.)

I'm not perfect, and I've certainly done things I shouldn't have. I've not led a perfect life, by any means...nor been an angel. However, I care about all of my family, and even still try to speak to my sisters. Unfortunately, in her selfishness, the younger one forever ruined all of the closeness we ever had. She said very unforgivable things to me on the eve of my husband's memorial service and we haven't talked much since. I'm not missing much...she's a drama queen and basically only called me when she needed an outlet to vent about her life. She did that to me when she found out about my husband's cancer..."I just heard, how are you doing?", and in the middle of my answer started to vent about her latest drama. If you've heard the Kenny Chesney song, "What About Me", that's my theme song for her.

I admit it certainly has potential to be true. Somebody created us and visited us throughout the history of our existence. I've read Chariot of the Gods and Gold of the Gods and know that there's a lot of evidence to support this theory. Also, the first writing of Genesis was plural "gods", not "God"...that was changed at the Council of Nicea by the Emporer Constantine...the same council where one vote decided that Jesus was indeed Divine.

So, do I accept the possibility? Yes. Do I follow the "religion"? No.

To be serious now, the only reason my last husband and I got legally married was to get him on my medical benefits because we knew he was very sick. No regrets, because when he died I didn't have a legal battle, nor any argument from his family since they knew the reason for our marriage. He was an only child who'd never been married before, and his dad died just a few months before he did. Luckily, they all felt I'd really earned what I received. (And I did.)

We'd never actually ever planned to get legally married. So goes life.

Actually, I share my chaise with the dogs, or they take the sofa! But yep, that's theirs! (Or the chairs...depends on their mood...the chaise is the only one that's all mine...when they're not in it with me!)

Ah, now that's different. I had an albino Doberman once that I had to put sunscreen on, sunglasses, and a visor to keep her from getting sunburned when we were out. She's the only dog I've ever humiliated that way...but it was for her own good. I did try a raincoat because she so hated to get wet, but she didn't like the coat any more than the water it protected her from... She preferred standing as close to me under my umbrella as she could to do her business...and never got my feet, TG!

Good! Why can't people let dogs be dogs? And the more money they have the less like dogs they let them be...

My dogs do not wear sweaters or hats, they don't eat my food and they don't sleep in my bed. I love them dearly, and they listen when I do tell them something...but they are dogs.

Currently I have two dogs, both Lab/Doberman mixes, one male and one female. I adopted both from rescues, and they give me many hours of joy and laughter. I love them dearly...my furry kids!

I joined a health club last year, spent about 400 bucks. Haven't lost a pound. Apparently you have to go there.


These were all funny, but that was my favorite! I paid for the year in advance to save long-term costs...and haven't been since renewing this year 'cuz of starting my job. That one hit home.

One Year

Again, my thanks to all...I'm feeling better. Letting the grief out, and having support here and locally has helped a ton. Part of being strong is knowing how to let yourself be weak for a bit as well...and allowing yourself to grieve. That's a lesson I've learned this year. It's the first time I've ever really lost someone close to me that wasn't really old (all of my grandparents died of old age), so it's really the first time I've grieved in my entire life. It's been an interesting lesson.

Thank you, Ken...though not of the quality I used to write a long time ago. I don't know why, but my muse left many years ago. I just don't seem to have the poetic talent I once had...and certainly can't hold a candle to some here.
