And yes...I want to see your new boots! My legs are as tan as they ever get... I did just shave them today, though...so at least they're not growing Sherwood Forest on them right now!
Three men rent a room that costs $25. They each pay $10, making $30...the bellboy gives them each back $1 and keeps $2 for himself. 3x$9=$27, plus $2 for the bellboy is $29....where's the missing $1? That's the one that has no solution!
Sorry...I had to vote for Nirvana as their the ones I'm most familiar with...some of those I'd never heard of, though I've probably heard some of their songs.
The radio station I listen to plays a wide variety...but never announces who and what the songs are, which is my only complaint about them.
My 13 yr old did the best word ever...some scientific thing starting with a z that used all of his letters, and it was the first word, double word score...something like 88 points to start the game
Hi, Bajan! Yep...I had a scare of heart palpitations and pain, numbness and pain down my left arm...drove myself to the hospital with my husband next to me...ended up on 23-hour heart monitor and getting a stress test. They never could tell me what was wrong...but they could tell me it wasn't a heart attack.
Don't follow my example...have someone else drive you. I'm a headstrong idiot at times.
OK...looked it up, but I'm confused as to whether or not this is the song "Personal Jesus" that I danced to in the 90's, and who the performer was on that one? I never could make out the lyrics, except for the main chorus, and it had pauses...
ummm...actually happens in all women...but the symptoms can vary greatly...most women aren't aware of it until they start getting "hot flashes", but it starts much earlier than that and the symptoms develop gradually
Nope. Perimenopause typically starts in your 30's...and 22 yr olds have died from heart attacks...as have athletes in their 30's and 40's who ate healthy foods and exercised regularly. So, get checked.
Another piece of info that most don't know...a little OT, but goes with the perimenopause discussion: women are born with all of their eggs, and the reason that babies with birth defects are born to women after age 35 is because that's when the eggs (ovum) start to deteriorate. I believe this may also be what triggers the onset of perimenopause. (Peri means around.)
No...for women it's different, not always the classic chest pain/tingling down the left arm.
It could be anything...but because of the symptoms you should get checked ASAP, just in case. Not trying to scare you, btw....just warning you. Many women have heart attacks w/o knowing it. I hope it's not that serious...preferably the perimenopause that was mentioned...but just in case, get checked out. NOW.
I remember you...you posted something like this when you first joined...my advise is, get on the forums and join in the fun, you meet lots of great people and a lot of the successful relationships on here started there. If nothing else, you might make a lot of friends. I have.
Is that like vertically challenged...only for age?
It does sound better than any of those other words, though...me, I like mature (sounds like you're an adult, anyway...even for those of us who will never be totally grown up!)
I'm not a doctor, but I did go to nursing school...and I suggest you see a doctor.
Your pins and needles feelings indicate poor circulation, and the palpitations aren't a good sign either. See a doctor...NOW. Signs of heart attack or stroke can be subtle in women...can be almost anything, and very different from the classic signs we've learned from men.
Just in case, take a 1/2 an adult aspirin...not acetaminophin, ibuprofen, or any other pain reliever, but aspirin.
It could be a lot of things, but the palpitations concern me deeply, esp combined with not feeling well and the pins/needles thing.
Oh...I'll have to dig deep in my wardrobe for one of those...I was going to put on my best outfit, which is a pantsuit...I don't wear dresses often. I do have one here, though...can I wear my Birks with it then, and leave the nylons behind? (I hate those...they're why I don't wear dresses... )
Carl Hiasson for humor combined with a great story, Morgan Llewellyn for Celtic ancient history within a great story, Marc Olden for excellent murder mysteries with Japanese culture and history as the background, and Terry Brooks for fantasy extraordinairre!
RE: In the mood for a party, I was going to hire the band but we have lots of home grown talent so
I'll rub the moisturizer in...I give a great massage.
