RE: Would you like fries with that?.......Mayonaise that is........Never used mayo with fries?.....

I guess next time would be my first time...but if I go there, I probably will. Love to try local specialties (as long as I can eat them).

cheers

RE: Would you like fries with that?.......Mayonaise that is........Never used mayo with fries?.....

My younger son likes A-1 on hot dogs...I know I'm going a little OT here, but they go together in a way (hot dogs and ff). I also know someone who likes peanutbutter on their hot dogs. (Have yet to try it...but I know I will.)

RE: Would you like fries with that?.......Mayonaise that is........Never used mayo with fries?.....

Oh, yeah...that's the only time I really like the fatty stuff! It's what I keep mayo around for...on sandwiches, I'm a Miracle Whip Lite girl.

RE: Would you like fries with that?.......Mayonaise that is........Never used mayo with fries?.....

I hate salt and I hate vinegar, but go figure...there are times I crave Salt & Vinegar chips!

Not fond of it on my fries, though...I'll stick to mayo.

RE: Would you like fries with that?.......Mayonaise that is........Never used mayo with fries?.....

I hate ketchup on my fries and was introduced to mayo on them a looooonnnnnngggg time ago in the Army by a friend who'd been to Germany. Have done that ever since. Love it!

If you've never tried it, try it on one sometime! I'll bet you get hooked!

cheers

RE: Adopted children/own children...would you date me?

It's hard when you're a single mom. I have two teenage sons who currently live with their dad, but for me it's important for a man to accept them...esp as this could always change.

I have no problem dating men with children. I'm not looking to take over as their mother, but would try to be friends. handshake

RE: Appeal

You're welcome. Blessings on you and your family. New here, so didn't know you and Queserasera were related until now. handshake

RE: Appeal

Good. Glad to hear it, QSS. Blessings.hug

RE: Are You a National Treasure ?

I think it depends on who you ask. I believe my sons, my friends, and my dogs would say "yes". However, my ex-husbands would probably say "no". laugh laugh

RE: Young, lonely, and don't really fit in with the crowd.

Now there's a piece of wise advice! cheers

RE: train or bus

I haven't taken a train, but I've taken a bus. My sister has done both from NH to PA and back for visits with kids. She preferred the train. I think it would be less crowded together. I know bus seats are horribly close.

I see you did research on travel prices. Cool. Enjoy your trip, and I hope that your meeting with this gal goes well. Good luck, Alan! beer

RE: so many dating sites, yet not enough LOVE ...anyone have this problem?

Ship, I think this is the most eloquent I've seen you wax about love so far!

RE: so many dating sites, yet not enough LOVE ...anyone have this problem?

I've been on many, paid a lot of money over the past several months, and this is the best one I've found. Mostly, all I've gotten from the others is contacts from scammers, though I did have a couple of dates with one guy who remains a friend.

I'm making friends and having fun in the forums, and have also seen many success stories so far. I think CS is the best! cheers

RE: Are you a pack-rat? Save things forever, may need it later, years pass, you still got it?

I'm with ya on that, Jenny! I put everything back so that I can find it again! I've become an orginization freak.

Here, I've found 3 magnifying glasses and 9 pairs of scissors so far...only keeping 2 pairs of scissors. Also, 6 bowling balls (?). I've given away a large trash can full of golf balls, and still keep finding them! Goodness knows what else I'll find...I've barely started on the garage, haven't tackled the basement storage or attic parts yet!

If you're seriously offering help, I'll take it!handshake

RE: How do you hide your pain ?

My "oh what a night"s start with Long Island Ice Tea...I've had as many as 7 of them...just don't try to walk after that! rolling on the floor laughing

RE: Are you a pack-rat? Save things forever, may need it later, years pass, you still got it?

Funny, but for a gal who hates to shop I seem to accumulate a lot of stuff! rolling on the floor laughing

Yes, I've been a pack rat all of my life. However, after inheriting a house full of the lifetime accumulations of 3 pack rats (my late mother-in-law, father-in-law, and husband), I am ruthlessly going through all of theirs and mine. I have things going into yard sale, things I'll be selling on eBay, and things that get thrown away because they're junk and nobody will want them. It's time to clean out. I don't want to leave my sons a mess like this in the future.

RE: Waiting

laugh Good point!thumbs up Patience is learned through the process of becoming an adult...and I'm still in the process!

RE: How do you hide your pain ?

I'm one of those open books...so I can't hide it if I'm around people. It's just there whether I want it to be or not...so if I want to hide my pain, I hide me, just avoid people or go off on my own for a bit.

RE: Waiting

Ah, but sometimes "the waiting is the hardest part" (Tom Petty)

RE: Which is prefered in your country?

Got any tomato juice around? My late husband was a heavy drinker and this is what he used when he wasn't going out for "hair of the dog".

RE: HHmmmmmm!!! Interesting thought..

Ditto. thumbs up The best way to eliminate it, or at least minimize it, is to face it head-on.

RE: Do you meditate? Does it help you to relieve stress or do you use other methods?.......

Actually, I think we're getting away from that. More people are turning to toxin-free products, herbal products, greener living, organic eating, and meditation and yoga. Natural Medicine and Alternative Therapies are another trend now. People are learning that the "quick fix pill" has its own drawbacks and can actually make things worse. handshake

RE: Do you meditate? Does it help you to relieve stress or do you use other methods?.......

Good for you, HG, that you realized that...so many people never do.

Yes, I meditate. I do it different ways at times, sometimes the kind with a chant, sometimes with a prayer Mandala, and sometimes just stretching slowly with relaxing music and focusing on the relaxation and stretching. It all works well.

RE: Who Knows How To Post Photos on The forum ?

Tom, thank you, I have wondered this myself.
