Hey, I know that feeling. I've run out of "spare parts" to lose!
Glad to see you're back and please, eat the yogurt. Trust me. After losing mine I developed IBS, lactose intolerance and gluten intolerance. You don't want all of that.
I actually have some of those....somewhere around here, plus some more in my storage shed. Someday I'll actually know where they all are...and maybe even try following a recipe or two.
Actually, I could really use cooking lessons...I'm more of a show me person, and some of those directions don't mean anything to me, may as well be written in Greek.
Thank you, though!
(Just for the record, there are some things I can cook...the variety is just small. I've been smart enough to marry two men who could cook. )
Thank you, LL. I'm not having too bad of a day...just a Monday. Saturday will be better. Returning to work after 10 months off hasn't been an easy adjustment...for me or the dogs. I was trying to avoid it. Oh well...everything happens for a reason.
Oh, btw...white icing is just as sweet, and almost tastes better than chocolate...sure runs a close second. Great to keep in the fridge for those "my sweet tooth is calling" moments! One spoonful goes a long way!
OK...you just made me wish I could hop on the next flight there...with my dogs. My Spanish would come back to me quickly, I'm sure...I was fluid in it once!
I have to agree...it's the true friends that you know you can count on, and they on you, that help one get through the tough times, and make the happy ones even better.
(Had to add the teddy bear...I haven't used it in a while ;-)
Ah, JB...if only I could say the same. Though I do have the friends part...and a place where I can go that I am accepted just the way I am. Sadly, right now I don't get to go there as often as I have because of working. Can't leave the dogs in their crates all day, then put them in again all evening...just wouldn't be fair. But an entire place like that...that would be nice. Glad you've found one.
RE: When you go in the kitchen you gotta........
At least a half hour...definitely the bare minimum!
