Funny, but having studied French, Spanish, and German, (and being familiar with many other language pronunciations) I tend to pronounce things with a foreign twist...drives people around here nuts, 'cuz they've Americanized everything.

Steak w/baked potato and asparagus
Split pea soup
16-bean soup
(I'll make the above...they're the things I make the best, unless you don't like garlic)
Tuna salad sandwiches
Spinach salad w/grilled chicken
General Tso's Chicken
Shrimp...with anything
Raspberry Sorbet

I liked your list, but I can't eat most of it 'cuz it has cheese...but I'll join in on the Vegetable Beef Soup and French Dip nights...just make my French Dip w/o cheese, please!
