It's not the Bush-bashing...it's the way he says "you Americans" and "your President" that I'm referring to...like he isn't one. Pissed me off even more to find out he is a citizen and says it that way. He's an arrogant jerk that loves making money in this country but thinks he's too superior to consider himself an American...like we're inferior. That's what finally grated my nerves too much.

Bash Bush all you want...ever American has that right because of the soldiers in this country who died for you to have it...but want to state things like you're not an American? If you really think that way, leave.

You know that saying about it being better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all? I think the person who first said that had something like my story happen. I have no regrets. At least for a short period in my life, I had love like that. Having had it, I won't settle for less again.

Btw, what do you do with a star fruit? I bought one once, cut it up into salads and it was ok...but I wasn't sure whether or not I was supposed to remove the outer skin or not? I did...was I right?

Organic, fresh from the tree are the best! I grew up with an orchard in my yard with apples that made me learn some of my tree-climbing skills!

Oooh...lobster is my favorite seafood, followed closely by steamed clams. I grew up on the New England seacoast, and the seafood is what I miss most!

The media in this country seem to forget that if we lose our 2nd Amendment rights, we'll also lose our 1st Amendment rights because we won't have the means to protect them. The day they wise up to that is the day they'll finally stop loving the democrats.

Now, meatloaf...there's a dish I've never learned how to make. I like it if it's made well. Grew up hating it 'cuz my mom burned it. Found out later that it can taste pretty good. Same with pork chops. (Those I learned how to cook right.)

It was awesome! I had meals that started out with an appetizer like nachos, then a ham and cabbage dish for the main meal, then frozen ice cream for dessert. We used to have a blast there! I wonder if it still exists?

Glad you can take the spicy stuff! I would probably love it, if it didn't numb my tastebuds to the point of losing all sensation of taste! I do love garlic on my food though! Good for your health, too.

Yes, I miss Mexican food, too. And ice cream. Lost my favorite food group when I became lactose intolerant.

Some places still use the old system, I believe. I don't know why. Many do use computers now. If all would change to that, we would never have that issue again.
