Woke up, fell out of bed Dragged a comb across my head Found my way downstairs and drank a cup And looking up I noticed I was late Found my coat and grabbed my hat Made the bus in seconds flat Found my way upstairs and had a smoke And somebody spoke and I went into a dream
Riya, i was refering more to the cultural differences between India and the west. This is what smacks travellers full on in the face when they arrive in India. I think Pakistan has a similar effect, maybe even more so.
And mf, how could i like the French....I'm English
I would not expect an Indian would like to admit to the undeniable similarities betwen the two countries, or vice versa. Bit like me singing the praises of the French
Same precautions as visiting many countries, its more the water than the food thats a problem. I know many people who have been to India, a good friend of mine runs a treking company and takes dozens of people out there every year. They all get sick, in varying degrees. Pakistan is even worse.
I guess its a matter of how long you spend there. I think it makes you re-examine your values and to look at material wealth in another way. I have not been to India yet, but have spent time in Pakistan, which i am told is very much the same. It was a very humbling experience.
RE: Would you Date the person above you ? (previous post)
Yes, but she said I'm not her type.
