There is nothing wrong with being single, and no, I am not embarrassed by the fact. Being a comic, and enjoying making others laugh is my ticket to having fun, and I never think of myself as third wheel.

I'm starting to...lately here it seems everyone I know is hooked up with someone, in "love" if you will....except me! It never bothered me before but dang it, it is starting to now!!!! 
Anyway, nope, it does not embarrass me but it has gotten me started thinking that there must be something seriously wrong with me

Like everything else there are advantages and disadvantages to being free and single. I know what you mean about the wedding thing though. I got invited to one for next month and feel a bit odd about going alone, although overall it won't bother me and I will go. It is just nicer sometimes to have a partner for functions and stuff like that. Sharing is such a big part of caring.

ohhh gosh no I dont find it emabarssing at all. You know what surprises me is how many of my married friends seem to be jealous of me and the freedom I hold. So I often talk to them and tell them to cherish what they have.

No.....dont mind at all....in fact ive gotten very used to it.....anyone who knows me expects me to arrive on my own now....think they would be in schock if I announced that I was bringing someone...

No I'm not embarrassed to be single..
I went to a wedding recently.. UN accompanied... and it was fine. (except for trying to fight off the grooms father) haha.
Oo anyhooo.. I was reading last night about being single at weddings.. (funnily enuff lol)
and it DID say to take someone..
Can you take a girlie mate with you? .. ask first though if it is okay for you to bring someone.
That way you have company.. and you both have a chance of pulling.

I must admit.. when one of them is having relationship problems.. I sit there afterwards thinking PHEW! I'm glad I don't have to put up with that crap.. haha

Why be embarrassed for being single? It doesn't bother me, I've been single for 6 years. The way I see it is if I meet someone then I meet someone, if not I don't mind.
