Monogamy is alive and well. Even though the media likes to portray a country of cheaters, I believe most would like monogamy in our relationships. I believe in monogamy very strongly. Thanks for the question sweetykat.
A great question. Noone is above our inner suspicions concerning matters of trust. Like other posters here, you have to really get to know the other person and earn their trust. The level one must attain to earn trust differs for each of us.
I believe that a huge step in developing trust between 2 people is being totally honest with oneself 1st. After that, just be yourself and trust should follow.
Angels are alive in every one of us. And there are angels who are no longer with us physically, but spiritually. If we find both, we are very fortunate!! I know such a person......
"None of the above" sounds about right to me <---not against a woman president, but wants the right person for the job no matter what gender, race or creed they may be.
Thanks to all who have posted here. I especially want to thank Eve for her very kind words. She is a terrific person and it was an honor to meet her.
Thanks also to a man of eloquent words and wisdom. Beachfarmer (Joel) really knows how to put things in perspective. Thanks beach for the kind thoughts.
And my Suzy...you are so wonderful. I wish I was there now, but we have the great time filler of anticipation to lean on until our next visit!!! Long distance relationships are difficult, but the fun of anticipating a reunion makes it bearable!! Thanks again all!!
Suzy and I went to dinner at Landry's Tuesday night...we had a wonderful and romantic dinner together. Suzy looked so beautiful...I was awe-struck when I met her at her front door. She wore a red kimono top with a black skirt. Her hair was put up and held together by chinese chopsticks, and she wore a pair of very attractive red high heels. She was stunning!! Her eyes actually smile when she smiles. She looked like a million bucks!!
On Wednesday, we took the boys shopping at Walmart and we also went to a mall. The boys had a great time playing at an arcade and we all felt very "relaxed and at home" together. Suzy fixed an incredible chicken dinner with home-made macaroni and cheese...what a terrific cook she is!!!!!
Thursday was Suzy's birthday. After Suzy made the best pancake and egg breakfast I ever had, we went to tour the Marshall Space and Rocket Center in Huntsville...what a great learning experience it was!! We also saw an I-Max movie there about wetlands and then went on some rides the center offered. What a great fun day we all had!! Thursday night, Suzy's mom, Eve joined us for dinner at a local Chinese restaurant...incredible food! We all had a great time (and ALOT of food), and then went back to Suzy's house for birthday cake that she baked and presents. It was a strawberry and pecan cake....heavenly!! (Suzy loves cooking, and what an incredible cook she is!!!)
Friday, Suzy had to work, so I took the boys for some more arcade fun at the mall. We also did some work on Suzy's car. They were terrific young tour guides and didn't get me lost (unlike their mom...lol). Friday night, Suzy and I went to a mexican restaurant called Casa Blanca---the food was terrific, but the company was incredible.
I left Saturday afternoon...it is tough to leave, but we are really looking forward to seeing each other again!! Another countdown sweetheart!!! I love you and thank you for having me into your home and your life!!
I want to thank all of the CS members who have given Suzy and I all of their well wishes and blessings. I want to thank Peg for her posting a happy birthday thread to Suzy this past Thursday.
I want to thank Suzy's boys for welcoming me into their home and into their lives. They are incredible young men and I had a great time with them. They were very respectful and warm towards me and I have to credit their wonderful mother for that. I can't wait to see them again, hopefully very soon!
I also want to thank Suzy's mom, Eve, who babysat the boys my 1st night visiting. That evening was a very special night for Suzy and I, and Eve made it possible. Thank you for welcoming me also, Eve to your family. You should be very proud raising such a wonderful, warm and beautiful daughter. And proud for those 2 incredible grandchildren you have!!
I want to thank CS for bringing Suzy and I together...we both think it was more Providence than anything!!
I especially want to thank my Suzy Baby! Thank you darling for your warm welcome to your home. Thank you for the most incredible week of my life. Thank you for loving me, respecting me and caring for me. You are the most incredible woman I have ever met, and I am blessed to be part of your life!! Now that we have met in person, I know you are my soulmate, the love of my life and I will honor you and cherish you for eternity!! I love you Suzy!!!
<---dang...note to self...do not send Rebecca coupon to not pee my pants for two weeks....send other idea instead.....promise to take more than 1 bath per week....yea, that is a good substitute....ok....end of memo.
