I think the best way is to get to know the person well. I don't think you can make people trust you, you have to earn their trust.

Another thing is don't lie. If you get caught in just a little harmless lie, people won't trust you.
Just be yourself and treat people as you would like to be treated. Remember, put yourself in their place and ask yourself; would I trust someone like me? If the answer is no, then you have to find out why, because the other person won't.

I am agree with almost all of this answers. I think the first thing u MUST do is never say a lie. It doesn´t care is it is only an small lie or not. JUST AVOID THEM!!!. Then people will know u are a guy they can trust.

A great question. Noone is above our inner suspicions concerning matters of trust. Like other posters here, you have to really get to know the other person and earn their trust. The level one must attain to earn trust differs for each of us.
I believe that a huge step in developing trust between 2 people is being totally honest with oneself 1st. After that, just be yourself and trust should follow.
