I find it funny this should come up, because it happened to me. We had a disagreement, but instead of working it out she met a guy off Yahoo, and he proposed the first night! She said yes and 3 weeks later, she married the guy!

A month later she wrote to tell me she made a huge mistake but felt she needed to respect him and stick it out.... I think she was one sick puppy and thoughts?

I agree with all y'all. (That's TX plural) Had it happen, and maybe the girls can shed some light on the mental state of doing that. Al I can figure out is lack of good self image, and not knowing what we might have said gives them some kind of power.

I also ran up against a new wrinkle today, someone that will set up a separate "new" account to see how her new "contact" will react to a new attempt to contact him. Sounds a lot like entrapment to me, but beware guys......

Here's my deal folks, I am living on one side of the house, and she on the other. My job keeps me out of town 17 days a month so it isn't a big deal. I am paying the bills and she is about to get her full time job back. I am trying to be a gentleman about all this and still be true to myself. Most of my friends say I am nuts, I think I am too, but it is better than a negative cash flow.

One part of this that hasn't been brought up Tamara, is that people in general try to be truthful, straightforward, and honest. It is the situations that test there metal that truely expose the inside.
(I call it a quickening, like the Hylander movies)

Personally, I try really hard, but as the song says, I fall down, I get up. I have no problem admitting when I screwed up to a faithful friend, or someone I have wronged. (doh!) It is the God like forgive AND forget that gets most of us.

Anyone agree?
