Over the couple of years I have been on this site I have seen this happen again and again. People, usually from disparate geographical settings, declare undying love; these are people who have never met in person. Often countdown (to when they will actually meet) threads run into the hundreds of posts. Even profiles are altered to tell the world of their happiness and then poof! The ardor is gone and pretty soon the profiles are back to the way they were and the protagonists are back for the next act. Sad for them but humorous for the rest of us.

I think if someone I was just emailing/speaking with suddenly posted protestations of undying love and commitment in the forums my first inclination would be to back away. Too much too soon and we haven't even met yet!

If a connection was made and cemented I would be happy to make it public as an affirmation that it can and does happen.

I dont think u could judge ppl's feelings about others, sometimes its too fast to feel and sometimes its too fake to believe, so dig deep and find out if they really mean what they say about the one they r so called in love with... but once again, u never know if s/he really loves or not, plus i dont get the desperate geographical place thingy and i believe that every place has its own beauty, dontcha guys think so?dunno cool

"Sad for them but humorous for the rest of us".

But never humorous for me personally. Ergo:

A reflective insight into my thread and its implications and or / intended impactive response on those who answer with a degree of clarity and understanding, which you have clearly shown.
