I can never understand why we have Border protection if we dont shoot the boats out of the water or turn them back. Boat people are not refugees from a refugee camp, the ones in real need of salvation cant get out and couldnt afford the trip.
Merri We could have had the whole of Libya coming over in boats but they stayed back fought and now they're free. Thats what we should be doing getting rid of these tyrants that cause boat people. They have enough fertile land and resources in their own countries.
We have plenty of do gooders and bleeding hearts in this country, I wonder how many of these seekers would they or you be willing to settle in your own home? Yes we have a vast country if they are willing to settle in the middle of nowhere, but they want to live in cities with jobs. What jobs? more than 90% of our youth are unemplyed.
