I think every here has valid points........i dont know what would be the solution to helping or punishing troubled kids..

do have some points though to add

I have known alot of adults that wished they had parents who didnt give beltings........for punishment or otherwise

i never physically punished my kid and she is a responsible adult now.....i started right from wrong before she went to school.....but she does have issues with males......her father couldnt be bothered with her whilst she was growing up......

I do know of a young man who recently burnt his parents house.........rich family without alot of guidance.....not the right thing but no one who knows him is actually surprised......

There are alot of teens who are actually good kids......trying to live and deal with the world us ADULTS created for them...

I find even troubled kids do respond well to some adults who seem to care or be a bit interested in what they are into or doing

Jail doesnt fix people, maybe as a parent try to guide ur own kids who are having kids...how to teach kids to be true to themselves

Talking and communication is extremely important

Even if you dont like their music or hobbies.....pretend ur interested


I remember when i was a teenager..........i hated it.....changing body shape.........pimples.....unpopularity........who the hell was i..where did i fit in...often nowhere......and i came from a great close family

One important point...........you loose control of ur kids when they go to school.....they are no longer in their safe and protected enviourment and are exposed to all the elements of ..........

the world WE created.i feel responsible for that

Yes...i am self employed...this allows me not to deal with all that crap....too old for complicated dictated bosses who run their business ......probably have their own reasons...but not my choice

I CLEAN HOUSES FOR A LIVING...AND I CAN TELL YOU....NOONE IS GOING WITHOUT ANYTHING IN THIS COUNTRY.....i have people tel me they are doing it tough when they drive the latest cars.......fridge full.......wine in the rack.............working and sometimes not..........wardrobes full of clothes......even a spare room for guest who come to stay occassionally.........afford a dog or cat or both or two or three.......shoes of their feet........second shops chocked full of goods people buy and then disgard cause their simply just sick of a particular colour or style.............I AM THE ONLY PERSON I KNOW THAT HAS a analog TV with a digital box!!!!!!!!!!! I find it in credible that people dont like a new tax based on the fact that they think they are already doing it tough.....................have a look around ur home and tell me what poor is?

I DOUBT THAT JULIA GILLARD ALONE BROUGHT DOWN UR BUSINESS...there are lots of factors relating to a business going broke...so easy to blaim goverments...

i could do that too but choose to keep my small business going due to all the factors, comunication...competition...quality of service....not spending more than earning..........the alternate of JULIA OR NO BRIGHTER......it is up to you and ur community to make ur enviorement a much better place.....after all u are the controler of ur spending and costings aren,t you?

it is a wealthy person who has the time and money to sit on sites like this...able to afford an internet connection..at about average $40 per month......ASwell as a cost of a computer.......RUN THE ELECTRICITY TO MANAGE IT....to winge about a little bit of carbon tax you are going to pay...if any at all..................WHAT IF

you wont freeze to death.......i live without heater or fans.....am currently in my shed and it is 6 degrees.....just put on more socks coat and blankey.............hot water bottle..........u can always save money by using ur noggin

i am not liberated whether it is julia or whoever...as i understand it... one one small scale...carbon tax will be a detterent for coal mines ........rethink how they run their show....it will not be too benificial to us or our kids but this will have some sugnificiance in years to come...it is not an instant solve all but a start to the future.......u cant expect to have this lavish lifestyle we enjoy to not have an impact on emissions.......even the poor in this country are doing well

as economy goes.....even if the admin...gets alot...isn,t it still a pool of money that goes out into the universe instaed of staying in a tight...bank....any money that gets distributed into the community which would otherwise stayed where it is...be a benifit to all eventually?

happened to me too..first and last time scammed....same anti wrinkle cream on facebook page ad...i went to bank had to get new credit card and got my money back......

there,s one on GUMTREE .COM too, i am trying to sell my fathers oxeygon machine.....if you sell something on gumtree dont list your phone number anywhere, scammers text ur phone before the ad even goes on the site wanting more personel imformation, suggesting to email them with details about what ur trying to sell........they are after ur email and anything else they can get their grubbie little hands on

yes WASHU2.......mostly agree thanks.....but would like to reword HAND OUT...............i never saw being responsible for own child to be a hand out...........his percentage was only 18% of income...the rest was up to me.........but most of the time 100% was.....

Axe To Grind? Well got a few but first one comes to mind....


The child support agency....happily i managed to survive to bring up my daughter with very little of it.... i still owed about 6 years of it, i got through it....my daughter a great person and 22.....
When she was 2, centrelink threatened that if i didnt say yes to letting CSA chase child support, then no support...it appeared at the time to be hopefull.........in my 16 years with that experience.... i learned that if the parent doesnt want to pay then they dont........

he told his family and friends he was paying loads of it

was glad when i did get a few minor payments but i think i was better off without it
