When you think about the amount, it sounds like a lot but because of inflation, $1 million is worth about $550,000 in US dollars. The US dollar (last count) is like 67 cents.
I think the first thing I would do is check with the bank and see how I can put the money there? Some banks only allow $250,000 maximum in an account.
Then I would invest! I would invest at least 1/2 of it, then I would pay off my student loans with some of the other. If there was anything left, I would invest again. But I think I would leave the stock market out -- unless of course it was in England where the Euro is rich!
I was not using my cell phone. I was driving. My students were watching their cell phones change time zones and laughing about it. I had a devil of time navigating the mountain roads. I was not worried about a cell phone at the time
Travel with care! That is all I can say. It sounds like a scammer glee and he will take you for a ride!
Some men are very serious; others not so. Take what is said and weigh it carefully. Pick out the important points, and throw away the rest. You may have thrown it all away and you will definitely have your answer.
The last time I traveled that way (2007), going through the mountains, I went from eastern to central so many times my cell phone could not keep up with the changing areas. Then in Chattanooga, parts were in central and parts in eastern. Glad they finally moved the time zone so those people can determine what time to go to bed
Light backgrounds are easier on the eyes. The dark backgrounds are very harsh and can endanger the eyes. This would be less people reading their emails.
