I get one check a month, and it is not $2000 so my family of 3 live on less than poverty level. I bet Dude could not do it. I know our Congress could not do it. That is why they keep giving themselves a raise and the hell with everyone else in America.
9.9% of Americans out of work may not be nothing to you and you can laugh if you want to. However, that 9.9% is more than 2 million people out of work! Those of us who have jobs are trying to keep them, but the esteemed government continues to cut budgets and federal funding until there are chances that 200 year old colleges will be closing their doors. There goes education out the window, along with a lot of people out of work!
But, hell that does not matter! Professors, faculty, and staff from colleges can't apply for unemployment or so the law states because teachers are always needed.
Debtor's prison is what it becomes. Those who can't afford the health care and those who refuse to purchase it goes to jail. I cannot afford $500 a month for his health care. I have better coverage with my work place. But if I did not have the healthcare, there is no way I could afford $500 a month for it, so I would go to jail, and my family would be homeless.
Sounds like a perfect plan to me. Let's put everyone in jail. At least they do not have to worry about a roof over their heads, food to eat, etc. Get sick, they call the doctors. Need a dentist, they call one. So why not go to jail -- sounds like better than I have now and I work two jobs to have what I have. The only thing missing when you are in jail, is freedom.

You just stated a falsification! Americans do not believe that only Republicans pay taxes and work. Everyone, regardless of political affiliation, work and pay taxes, even those on SSI and Unemployment pay taxes. Go to the grocery store and you pay at least 9% in various taxes. So don't go there!
Dude! Get for real! There are no "New" jobs in New York or anywhere in the USA. More people applied for unemployment in the month of June than did in January. Unemployment rate is up to 9.9% again!
Fair heath care for whom? The American people? If it is so fair for the American people, who is the President, the cabinet, the House of Representatives and the Senate exempted and have their own health care? If it is a true fair health care, it should apply to everyone, and no one be exempt.

Personally I did not vote for him the first time, and will not vote for him the second time. The man is a nemesis to himself and this country -- that was one a great country -- now we are just trying to survive. The People of the USA have found out what he is, and regardless of who is running, it will be a close race, but I think the other will win -- not Obama.

I would have been nuts when my children were this age. Now they are in their 20s and I still worry about them. Tell them I love them every day, and let them know they have me and home.
As a mother, I see that we all have a valid point. What we can do as mothers is to love our children and let them know they are loved. Both of my children are grown and in college.

I agree with you on all points -- except the DA did not prove she did anything but lie to the cops. This is sad as Little Caylee does not get a second chance.
I heard 20 cents an hour. But the question is why? Why would a judge put someone in jail for trying to pay his bills? Why would a judge think that someone is going to bail they out all the time? That is a backward ruling that is archaic and just plain dumb!
