..but if, lets say, you were feeling lukewarm about the forums or the dating prospects already, and on top you had to continuously fend off against vicious personal attacks, wouldn't you start to question whether it's worth the time and effort?
There are a few billion people that share more traditional views on the subject, like mnowsa. There are men who'd like to marry a virgin who will become a housewife and raise their kids, and there are women who see themselves happily doing that. Billions that think distinct roles for the husband and the wife result in a more stable family and less troubled kids.
Personally, I can't dismiss such views so easily... nothing is black or white.
Just look at this pic http://www.ditutor.com/determinants/images/0_1.gif and imagine it applied to IQ question that ask you to choose the right shape to fill a similar 3X3 matrix.
