RE: Having a date tonight

I think you are correct when you say that people are not themselves when going for a "formal" date. It kind of feels like an interview!!.

I always found it best to meet someone by accident. It seems to take that tension out of things. I have found on this site and others that when you get talking (emailing) with someone, things go great, no pressure. Maybe the other person has time to formulate an answer that they think will keep you happy!! But then the pic swap happens and suddenly your talking to a mirror again!!!
blues

I have noticed that people get very worried about that silent pause during a conversation. They tend to painic and feel they have to say something (usually the man who obviously hasn't thought about it and spurts out something that usually makes him look like a d&*k!!) You know you have found someone worth fighting for if you feel that you DONT HAVE to make conversation and both are happy in the silence.

Just my 2 cents. dunno

So back on subject - Sorry to hear it didnt go to well. At least you did the hard work and got a date. Well done.cheers It just proves that it's not you but her. As someone siad - you just haven't for Miss right yet (but at least your looking

RE: Ireland and the Recession

Check your insurance policies. You know, health, serious illness house etc. Managed to save over €120 per month!!wow wow by simply asking my new broker to shop around. All benefits remain the same. My house insurance has halved!!!! Still with the same, original provider. Well worth shopping around lads. These policies have dramatically changed in the last few yearsthumbs up thumbs up

What do you all do??

@LiamMG
Liam - DONT WORRY TOO MUCH. Fine, your results may not be great but in an interview situation they only count for so much. Interviewers are looking for so much more than just what grades you got. Ive interviewed people who had all the qualifications to beat the band but had no people skills. The guys I hired has lower grades but were able to sell themselves and the company. Its all about self confidence mate. beer

RE: Have you ever fantasised about anyone here and still never mail them.......

RE: how many people use more than one dating site ??

Used Parship.ie in the past.

I met a single girl, 37, looking for a male. Amazing!!!! doh

RE: ESB BILLS

I signed up for direct debit and internet billing after been told that I would reduce my bill by approx 10%. For the last year my bill fluctuated by 1 euro. Received my bill last month and found it was 10% higher!!!! They said that I must be using more electricity !!! More than over coldest Christmas on record!!!!!frustrated frustrated

Not happy to say the least. Still waiting for them to come back to me

Biggles - try turning off the main fuse at the fuse board, killing all supply into the house, then check the meter to see if its still turning. If no electricity is been used, then obviously the meter should not turn!!! It may show up a fault in the meter dunno
