A better person there cannot be, you or me; but, a more enlightened me in the sense of knowing thyself as they say.
Those who present some triggers (negative emotional reactions) to us are perhaps the most useful of people when you approach them with as much love of self as one can muster in order to discover why that trigger is a trigger at all. I call these blessings waiting to be unwrapped.
I have dated women purely because they triggered something in me. Of course there are other reasons to date women... like, great conversations, sparks of horniness, awesome meals, or beautiful quiet moments staring at the new port-potty you just bought for a cross country trip in the new mobile tiny house you built.

Tell him that he cannot be alone, except to 'think' he is and then he suffers loneliness. The ego does this in order to deny spirit/god, indeed deny his/her true self. Ego wants its own identity. Which means he has to leave god, or in this illusion, to leave other egos (people it encounters) behind in some fit of anger or displeasure, anything that shows that his ego has an identity different from others that annoy it etc.
Ego wants to be seperate and tries to fool your mind by 'seeing/hearing/feeling' and then justifying aloneness by using the body's 'lack of others being around physically' as the proof that it is alone. Ego has issues with god you see. It wants it's own identity but the leaving is not possible. Umm you cannot leave the infinite.
Infinity isn't a tactile thing, anymore than a proof worthy definition of god or spirit but if you understand the concept of infinity, it is then impossible to be alone because you are present in everywhere and everything. (energy aka spirit)
Christianity teaches that god is everywhere, all things, all powerful, etc. The only thing that matches that is energy. As Einstein put it, E=Mc2 ... and so god = energy = infinity = spirit= love.
Getting beyond limitless is impossible. There's no outside of what is unlimited, which means that you're a part of that limitlessness, a part of infinite. Essentially when one is acquainted with spirit, the real self, there is no distance, no separation, no alone is possible. ESP is small proof of this as is the connection that lovers have in thinking the same thing at the same time. All you need do is call and whomever will arrive.
In the end, one's ego is actually ill because it uses misperceptions trying to prove its own ID.
