One doesn't keep people 'here' by being the same way that you are complaining about. Seriously. Not so oddly, intolerance is bigotry Gal. You can deny this but it is evident. I think that you see this but you're hearing your ego instead and pretending to be on a save the world crusade.
Open discussion isn't where you create a specific battle thread and attack specific people. This crusade is a false ego facade and I think that you know it.
Either you're hurt or your ego wants power or maybe both.
Everyone that comes to you in your life does so for an AWESOME reason. It's up to you to sort out why.
People leave because of unmitigated drama as this thread does. How can one defend humour while stabbing others and creating the same drama? That's a rhetorical question.

Money is social construct. In and of itself it cannot be evil. What people choose to do even if they are blindly following what society has taught them, is not wrong either. You just understand that they have been taught this and have yet to wake up.
Generally these are called addictions. I guess a lot of things are. Money is perhaps the largest of addictions, whereas an addiction to love without selfishness is very low on the scale. I think this is changing though. That change is best facilitated by not complaining about others and focusing on ourselves. Ask your self what really matters. Observing is ok, but complaining is counter productive I think.
You can't blame people who have been taught all their lives that money is somehow god, peace, happiness. They won't see it because according to ego money is king.
If you are addicted to the entertainment that they provide they will indeed get paid well. If everyone stopped being hooked on TV entertainment their wage would plummet. Supply and demand 101.
