I find this woman very easy to listen to, even though I don't understand a lot of what she is saying. It relates to a few things that have been talked about here recently, so I thought it might be of interest.

Of interest to you? Keep following that little morsel and you (your mind) and your body will be fine.
This is much like learning about electricity when you know nothing about it. But because you want learn you accept what the teacher is telling you about amps and electric fields and being shocked or killed or whatever even though you do not have a clear rational hold on all the electricity does. Learning is facilitated by openness, eagerness and acceptance.

Don't get excited, BB, I'm not "following" it, I just find it interesting. I'll continue along my own path, if you don't mind.

BB_snickers: Whatever you think you do others, you do to you.
I'm sorry, BB, I know I say a lot of things I shouldn't. But you are always trying to educate me, and it feels patronising, and it makes me a bit snappy.
I’ve talked about Free Will from time to time. Primarily from a spiritual viewpoint. Here it is again: Christians will agree that Free-Will is given to all by God. He wants us to have it. However, Christians also (tend) to believe that if we use our God-given gift of Free Will for choices, etc…that do not “fit” the Christian status quo, then we burn in hell. Now, this is conflicting, and a three-dimensional oxymoron. So, God gives people He loves a gift, pleasantly, willingly, and He wants them to accept it/have it. But the gig is, if you use it, you burn. I find that so untenable in every possible way, and I don’t believe it at all.

The Christian view is just one of many, and I don't see any reason to take it into account when we are trying to figure out what free will is.

It feels to me like you might need to get out of your head Circlip....all this internal examination of self....it'll make you crazy ...
Circlip: Well no, and I think that's the problem. If I could be more specific, at least I would have a starting point.
I need a purpose in life, I think. The Universe just doesn't seem to have a use for me.
Ah right, I see...I guess the only way around that is to find a purpose...I don't want that to sound cold or callous it's not meant that way...because no amount of talking or advice will change it for you until you change it...and find a purpose..does that make sense?
