fighting to survive
wanting to belong

Reaching out for love
wanting it so bad
to experience a real feeling
that i've never truly had

Some have come along
but just for a fleeting moment
at least for that brief period in time
I had a little enjoyment

Still I hold out hope
someday I'll find my princess
and in her loving hands
my troubled soul can finally rest

Oh what a wonderful feeling it would be
to find a heart that's true
to finally hear the words
I'm so in love with you
