Just heard on the news a female Acrobat of Cirque Du Soleil plunges 15 m from a suspended wire in front of a live audience in Las Vegas she died on the way to hospital. She had 10 years experience and a young mother of two so sad.
It is the first time in 30 years of Cirque De Soleil has had an accident with a death happening. I saw these remarkable an amazing entertainers when they came to Perth a few years ago.
Yes we're going over low maintained shrubs and lots of colour but having said that she lives coastal which limits certain shrubs and ground covers that can't handle coastal area's so I need to go through my books and look at as much colour I can get also nothing that is spiteful just a soft flowing look. The ground is well maintained with manure peet mulched into the ground and other minerals over the years the ground is very rich good quality dark rich soil to work with Plus the watering system has it's own bore so that is another bonus happy gardening I am looking forward to it I will take before and after shots.
The digging was easy the tap root was long on them but being they were going to the tip out came my loppers didn't matter where I cut the root system , even if you cut the tap root and leave it long it will still come back to life roses are very tough and can handle a bit of rough handling. It is a good idea to clean up the root system on most plants when transplanting gives oxygen back into the plant after the shock of being uprooted.
If it would have been clay that would have been hard yakka I have about 30 roses to dig out have done half so far some of them a very big old shrubs. Couldn't fit any more on the back of my Ute chockers , full up. Anyhow it was rather a sad day I am now looking at designing a new garden for her I think she is sad today too poor old dear
Believe you me serene it was hard to throw them out and not be tempted to bring one home , glad I live in a Unit with very small front and back patio stops me hoarding
I sure did dig them out manually I have the correct digging tools and I am one tuff lady Oh! hang on I can be fem -girly type too That is why I only dug half the garden out do the rest next week
Na! they went straight to the tip people knew about them being pulled up but people are too lazy and expect you to dig them out and deliver learnt my lesson years ago
I got quiet a shock when I arrived at work this morning The elderly lady I worked for asked me to dig out her magnificent rose garden one of the best I have ever seen I have taken care of it for many years now but she is starting to fall over and has fallen into the rose garden quiet a few times when she is potting about in it.
Some of the roses are the old fashion ones like the "David Austin Roses" that have a beautiful fragrance and bloom forever compared to the the modern roses that fall apart after a short bloom.
So that is what I am doing ATM half of the roses are out and gone to the tip I will dig the rest out next week , then will rebuild her an easy to maintain garden for her.
Think her neighbours will get a shock when they see half the roses missing it is a huge garden and can fully understand her wanting them gone.
Yeah the couple next door to me have a relationship like that they were married was a second marriage no kids with each other but grown up kids from previous ones , but it didn't work for them they got divorced and now have a relationship they both have their own home to retreat too guess it is a good arrangement for some folks they spent a couple of days a week together the rest is their own time.
It's a nice photo and you look handsome and shouldn't be long before a lovely lady falls in love with you best of luck with your new winning smile and I think hats off to you for being so honest which just gives more points in your favour Keep on smiling
You lucky ducky but you deserve it you hard working girl kick back and enjoy your special holiday.
You & your boys will have a fantastic time & you will be planning your next one ASAP Have a wonderful holiday don't forget to get lots of pics and down load for us to see Chill & Relax
The world is so different now to what it use to be it just gets harder and people don't have that trust factor any more that is what I hear when talking to other people commitment is not what it use to be JMO!Especially for the older gen more so
I would never enter a relationship now unless he had equal to what I have also I'd have a pre- nup written up I think people need to these days if they have assets sad but true which makes for a relationship even harder oh! well we have to deal with it that's life
That's nice to catch up with your family I haven't seen mine for few weeks it's hard to see my daughter her being FIFO worker and when she gets home she's so busy we have to organize time to catch up. I guess when they are young like when we were always too busy and working long hours I think we were much the same in our youth too.
Yeah she put the deposit of 400 grand down on the house and he took a mortgage out on what was owing about half what she contributed but she also signed on the mortgage papers which makes her equal partner by our law The sad side of this is she only knew him briefly then married him total of two years she is being scammed big time every time she tries to enter her home , him and his other family run her off , according to her she has a lawyer on it so she will be up for lawyers fees too what a mess this can drag on for years
I do I know all my neighbours around me and a few have my mobile number as I have theirs I am a firm believer in neighbourhood watch makes me feel way safer plus I am very lucky to have such nice folks living next to me It's good to introuduce yourself to your neighbours just don't live out of each others pockets be mindful of their privacy as they should for you JMO! Knowing them if you feel you are ill or in trouble you can call on them.
