I say drop the federal income tax for the citizens and tax the corporations accordingly like the constitution mandates and then i don't think the people will mind having to pay a lil more for everything else.
The rich will jut move to New Zealand or Dubai or wherever they can go to circumvent having to participate. how else do you think they got rich in the first place, by playing by the common rules
