What would happen in parliament if questions had to be answered honestly and without all the trimmings and sideways steps. Would more people be interested in what the pollies had to say
Merri Are you talking about the same Anna Bligh that didn't disperse over $700,000 that was donated for the victims of cyclone Larry but promptly put that money into the Brisbane flood disaster fund. Is that the Anna Bligh you think is doing a good job?
There seems to be big concerns about water supply yet how many here have seen others hosing down footpaths etcetera. Car washing uses up a fair bit too yet we all want to have shiney vehicles. I am totally dependant on rain I have three tanks to use for 12 months From ne wet season to the next. Ny car gets washed when I remember to park outside in the rain. The lawn goes from brown to green when it rains and the used water gets pumped onto the ground outside. I have save $$$ by not using water from different companies who supply this precious comodity. If the only incentive to install tanks is to get the Govt. rebate then I think you might as well hand over the whole of your pay to the greedy tax collectors(where have I read about taxcollectors before) There is no sharing of the wealth of the planet Time for everyone to have a good look at what we use and what we don't
How the hell would the politicians manage if we all went to a barter system No income No tax
Paddy staggeed out of a pub in Dublin and there was a little old lady with groceries standing on the kerb waiting to cross the road. She said to Paddy"Can you see me across the road" Paddy replied "I don't know I'll go over and have a look"
RE: Cyclones, bush fires, and other weather
Thanks for your thoughts We'll keep the rain and anyone can have the wind. They say peppermint is good for the wind
