If I had a nickel for every guy who has contacted me wanting to move to Alaska I'd be rich! I absolutely love it here, but most don't and are trapped by their jobs or lack there of.
I don't know why men do that. I find out they are really on disability if they say retired and are under 55. I also think they must be "sanitary engineers" due to the fact their income is listed at 25K. It's not about the money anyway guys, just about the honesty.
I know this "squaw" doesn't-LOL. And BTW most native american societies the woman is head of household-children bear her name (not dad's) and she can get rid of him if he's not a suitable mate!
Now back to why nice women are hard to find? Men don't want nice women or if they do they aren't compatable.
Being from Tennessee myself, I know what you mean about "whales". Poor Tennesseans, always getting picked on! Move to Alaska and they will think you have a "cute" accent.
