I stayed in Jackson Hole for a few days... practically stranded. I thought like most US towns that it would be easy to pick up a hire car. What was I thinking??!? It was right next door to Yellowstone.

I booked a private tour for Yellowstone, it brushed against the passenger side window. The bison I mean. I was so pleased to see them up close, my heart was racing and my hands were shaking... the photos are blurry.

But like yourself, I liked Jackson Hole.. .it's a lovely place.

Talking animals? I had an experience when I was staying at Jackson Hole for a few days... I did a private tour out to Yellowstone ( as one does) and a bison was so close to me that I could have reached out and touched it. It was pretty amazing.
