I got to agree with you friend. I may be pillared for saying this, but it seems a lot, A LOT, of women fall for the bad boy type and then get upset when the bad boy acts bad. Show me a guy who's life is spent with his kids and grandkids, his garden, puttering around his home and with the occasional road trip and I'll show you a guy who is alone. Just my opinion but it's based on observation.
I curious as to what others think of how I plan to vote in the next US presidential election. I see no one in the republican party that I think will address the problems our nation faces. Obama has for 3 years done nothing, in my opinion, but give taxpayer money to the richest 1% of the country. His policies are an unfunny joke. Given the choices I'm being offered now, I will vote for Obama. He is a consumate politition. All he does well is run for office. Since he cannot run for a third term as president, I doubt he would spend 100 days in the White House. If he is re-elected he will go on a 4 year vacation. I honestly beleive that no president is a better choice than any of the options we are being presented and a vote for Obama would be a vote for an absent president.
One thing I've notice is that a lot, not all but many people I've written to have profiles that spend a lot of time talking about wanting to know the true person. One lady went on and on about what a good Christian she is and how it's what inside that counts and when I wrote her she sent a one line message asking for a pic. She has written me twice more since then each time a one line message asking for a picture. Excuse me. LOL To me that kind of puts a lie to their profile if all they focus on is what you look like when they spend so much time on the profile saying it doesn 't matter. Makes me wonder what else the misrepresented. lOL

I guess I'm from the wrong generation. LOL I feel very uncomfortable putting a picture of myself out for the WHOLE WORLD to see. LOL Guess it's because I'm an old fart. I live in a rural area of the US. I can remember when no one had a home phone and we had to go to gram and pap's house to watch tv. One of the first in our little village. When we got a tv, a second hand one, as the oldest, it was my job to run outside and turn the antenna whenever dad wanted to watch one of the other of our 3 channels. LOL When computers finally came around---God how many of those damn punch cards did I fill out. LOL My world was small and I guess I've never lost that small feeling. It's really a strange feeling for me to think people from all over the world could be looking at me. Yeah I know it would be a very small number but the possibility exist LOL for the world to see me. I may someday come to the 21 century but I doubt it.
This could have been written by my ex wife. Her feeling this way is why I divorced her. Honestly I did love her but now? Nothing, rarely think of her. Even love of a partner can die if it is not returned.

I would like to extend my grateful heart to the Lord God. It may seem corny to some, maybe stupid to others but if you knew what a screw up I am you'd understand. LOL I've pretty much done everything wrong and yet here I sit in my own home that me and the bank own, got a job, enough to eat. Somebody has been looking out for me and I don't thing any human power could have keep me safe.

Nothing is important enough to act on till the pols are trying to con us into voting them back into office. In America we vote on rehetoric because that's all we ever get and that only every 4th year.
If one lives with this attitude and has enemies with the same attitude what is important is not the position in which you die just so you do die. After which none of you beliefs matter.
I'm a believer. Jesus Christ is my Lord. But my friend if you only follow Him to avoid Hell then you don't follow Him at all. Here is what I beleive. If you know God is real then you don't know enough. To know God is real he must be more than a God to you. I have a brother. If Seal Team 6 comes to get my brother, I will die alongside him. The same with the very few friends I have. I will stand with them because they are my brother and my friends. Not because there is gain for me. Heaven is a promise my friend who also is God has made to me and I do look forward to it. But Heaven or no my Friend is my Friend. It is in this relationship that He is found and nowhere else. In this relationship you stop looking for what God can do for you. You just know He is there for you as you for Him. You stand with Him and have the knowledge that He will do the same.
I agree with the concept of a saturation of education as far as the economy and wages goes. If, in America everyone got a doctorate, what are we going to do with 350 million people with doctorates. It just means the person waiting on your table at the diner has a doctorate. For your personal well being, financial and spiritual, yes an education is great but as far as the answer to a nation's economic well being, I'm not so sure. What has always bothered me about the arguements against the minimum wages is how people will say it harms small business yet every small business I've ever worked for paid well over minimum. It's the billion dollar corporations like Wal Mart and mickey D's that pay the overly low wages. The minimum wage isn't much but without it you'd see an even bigger realiance on social programs than we have now. There statements are made in general I know they should be qualified but I'm not writing a book here. LOL
Ain't it wonderful to live in a country where once every 4 years our leader pulls his thumb out of his butt and actually starts doing something? Three years and no need to raise SS benefits Three years and no need to address student loans Three years and no need to address home forclosures Three years and no need to bring the troops home. But now it must be done. It, according to the leader, is vitally important. Makes one muse about what is so special about this one year in four.
We have a lot of states and even cities passing new laws concerning illeagal immigration. Most of them are flawed. I have to lay the blame on the feds. They refuse to address the issue in any substantive way. If the reps in DC would do their jobs I think this issue of the state reps passing controvercial laws would go away. Any thoughts

The trinity is just a name for God in his three forms. 1 God on his throne in Heaven, 2 God in human form Jesus 3 God in the hearts of his people, the Holy Spirit. You can't argue Jesus. It is a personal thing. Either you are a personal friend of God or not. You cannot be a Christian enmass. That is the main difference between Islam and Christianity. Friends with God must be done one on one that can only be done thru Jesus and his example which is why he prayed to God the Father on His throne. At least that's the way I feel about it. Needless to say I'm not a church goer but am a Christian
