Actually I live in Winnipeg, when I was on here a couple of years ago I lived in Brandon for a short time, met someone and havn't been here until recently. I never cancelled my account and can't change my user name.
He is worth the wait but very stressful, we've been apart for 2 weeks and probably won't see eachother for another week or 2, we talk on the phone every day and send messages, but it is so frustrating, we are talking about moving in together, but he is a province away and because of our situations I'll be the one moving, I don't know anyone in the city except him, and I won't be able to see my family or friends as often as I'd like. Has anyone been in the same situation and how did it work out with you?
Anyone else in a long distance relationship, I'm in one now, and although it's working great, the distance is getting to me and because of his schedule for the next month I won't be able to see him much, how do you cope?
1. If you're choking on an ice cube simply pour a cup of boiling water down your throat. Presto! The blockage will instantly remove itself. 2. Avoid cutting yourself when slicing vegetables by getting someone else to hold while you chop. 3. Avoid arguments with the Mrs. about lifting the toilet seat by using the sink. 4. For high blood pressure sufferers: simply cut yourself and bleed for a few minutes, thus reducing the pressure in your veins. Remember to use a timer. 5. A mouse trap, placed on top of your alarm clock, will prevent you from rolling over and going back to sleep after you hit the snooze button. 6. If you have a bad cough, take a large dose of laxatives, then you'll be afraid to cough. 7. You only need two tools in life - WD-40 and Duct Tape. If it doesn't move and should, use the WD-40. If it shouldn't move and does, use the ducttape. 8. Remember: Everyone seems normal until you get to know them. 9. If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem.
Why havn't you seen eachother fo 8 years, people have a tendency to forget all the bad, and remember only the good as time passes.
I had a phone call from my son's biological father a few days ago, I haven't seen or talked to him for 22 years, I was shocked. He apologized for everything that happened, and said he was going to make up everything to me. Too little too late. My new love was with me and helped me get through this experience even called him back to talk to him.
There is always a reason people separate from eachother. Sometimes its better to leave the past in the past.
I met someone, fell in love, and am very, very, happy. We met face to face about 3 weeks ago, the most nerve wracking experience waiting to meet someone you've been only chatted with, but well worth it. Everything happened very fast for us, never expected this to happen, I'm a lucky woman.
Happiness keeps you Sweet, Trials keep you Strong, Sorrows keep you Human, Failures keep you Humble, Success keeps you Glowing, But Only Go Keeps You Going!
My ex-boy friend was on the rebound when I first met him. He started talking about her all the time, and I got fed up with it and broke up with him, about a month later he called me and we started talking again, and we stayed together for 5 years so it can work.
I was on the rebound when I first came to Brandon and started dating way to soon. It turned out to be a BIG mistake, he turned out to be such a jerk, I guess my judgement was clouded.
I'm going to a friends, eat some seafood appetizers and watch movies, First time I stayed in for New Years, I'd rather go out to eat and go dancing like I used to.
It's true
