I don't think anybody is questioning your definition of true love. We are just suggesting you give it time to grow. If you love her and she loves you, the time isn't going to hurt anything. If you rush into something that isn't truly meant to be - somebody is going to get hurt.
I think you just told her but for your sake and hers.....I would suggest just taking the time and truly getting to know one another. Don't rush things.
Why do I see so many threads like this? Who cares what people think about you. You have a mirror. Look at yourself and see what you think. If your proud of what you see, be happy. If you're not, change what you don't like. If you can't change it. except it and move on. A woman becomes more beautiful to a man when she is confident and accepts herself for what she is.
I think it would take more brain cells than I actually had to type like that.... I have noticed a few people on here that must be a lot smarter than I am, though, because they have it down pat.
The neice should have done this right away, but since she didnt, you need to contact Social Services immediatly. There is no other choice to make. Period. A 5 y/o does not have the ability to make these things up.
I THINK I know where you're going with this, but I have to disagree a bit. You can want to have somebody special to spend your free time with and still worry about your education. That's like a 20 y/o telling you that you should be more worried about your career.
I didn't even realize you lived in Antioch. I lived there for several years. The only word they say wrong (or differantly) that stands out in my mind is Lafeyette. (sp)
