So relieved to hear the little one is doing better! Have had both good and bad (very bad) care from physicians myself, so I understand all the responses here. I suspect it would carry more weight if your present doctor reported the ER doc; would he be willing to do so?

If no action is taken, who knows what impact this inept dr. might have on future patients! Don't know about the CAN. system, but there are ways to report such things in the US. Suggest searching for ways to report this (but also strongly suggest leaving ALL emotion out of any report so that your complaint will carry the most impact!)

Glad you decided to join the ranks of the insane! Not everybody here is TOTALLY crazy; some of us are only SLIGHTLY medicated .

Great suggestion, AudryS! Thanks for the congrat's. Hopefully, we will be able to meet most of the "closest friends from CS" this Saturday at the "meet-and-greet"!! What better way to celebrate than with fellow CS'ers!!

Well, The_Kansan & I are going to celebrate 1 year of wedded bliss tomorrow!

Since we (The_Kansan & I) met on CS, what do you guys suggest for our official anniversary? Music, entertainment, etc.?

Well, Don was home for the afternoon. The mechanic finished with my car . We had the funds to be able to afford Saturday!

Oh, and did I mention, Don was home???

Only one day left until our anniversary!! Only two days left until the "doin's," as Don calls them!

Happy Thursday, guy, and we'll see you this weekend!

Sorry, we've already checked for wi-fi signal at Shelter 1--there is none!! Consider it a trip back in time: before laptops!! We do have cell service (at least Don & I did). And, we can take pic's.

Has Everybody Seen the "Event" Thread for 8/16/2008 ?

Well, I can't believe that so FEW Tennesseans have signed up for the get-together/meet-and-greet at Norris on August 16. The Kansan moved here 18 months ago assuming we were all friendly/sociable Southerners, and now we don't have many signed up from TN!! As a "native" East Tennessean, I'm disappointed.

All I know to say is "ya'll come!!"

It'll be great fun!!

Being a CS member is not a prerequisite for attendance, especially when that person is your ride! So bring your friend and head this direction on the 16th!! We would like a head count soon, so be sure and sign up!

Overwhelmed, huh? Well, I can't imagine a better way to relax than to visit the park in Norris and hang out with some great folks!!
