With lights
flashing,

and sirens
blaring,

off they go,

to help
a stranger.

It doesn't matter
what time of day,

they just
want,

to make
things better.

With IVs and
Oxygen masks,

the ambulance crew
is at their best.

A policeman
is kind,

a policeman
will find,

people
who need,

the help that
they seek.

So don't put
them down,

cause you
may find,

you may be
the one,

the next
in line.

Has anyone had trouble crossing crosswalks?

the night i wrote this poem i came very close to being road kill (again) Its like i have a sign over my head that says, "please hit me" geez.

Crosswalks

people
who walk,

use crosswalks
alot.

But when people
who drive,

don't watch
who's inside,

a person
can get hurt,

or even die.

So when
you are making,

a left or
right turn,

please pay
attention,

and then make
your turn.

The Soldier

First, people are probably tired of hearing my poems, but i like to share anyway.

The Soldier

the men and women
who serve this country,

have earned
the right,

to be called
heros.

It doesn't matter which
branch their in,

as long
as they serve,

proudly within.

Army, Navy,
Air Force, Marines,

there's only
one thing

that makes
them the same.

And they are
called Soldiers,

of the USofA.

Search and Rescue
is standing by,

to help
you find

the ones
you love.

They put
their lives,

out on
a line,

to bring
whos lost,

back home
alive.

But sometimes
it doesn't

work out
that way,

they try
their best

and take
big risks,

to bring
those people,

back home
to rest.

Nurses

The Nurse

A nurse is someone
who shows compassion,

a man or woman
it doesn't matter.

There're overworked
and underpaid,

but still they come
to work each day.

They put up with
a lot of bull,

from doctors and patients
who are very rude.

So remember the
next time

when you
need a nurse,

be thoughtful
and kind,

and they
will too.

Fat Cat

I've got a
cat who's fat,

a fat cat
that sat.

A belly
so round,

he can't
get around,

a fat cat
at that.

Firefighter

Engine 57

On that fateful
day in October,

Five Firefighters
lost their lives,

Because of one
mans selfishness,

Engine 57
was no more.

I hope their
families

have found
some peace,

because
these five,

will
always be,

Firefighters,

the bravest of men.
