I am very sorry to hear about your loss, kaybee. I lost a friend after a 5-year battle with cancer, so I know the feeling. I pray you find the strength to remember her and smile.
I can relate to what you say, bluedolphin. However, it helps a lot to remind myself it is better to be alone than with a bad company. I do have a very good Friend too.
Thank you. I always keep my guards up, and that's why I am still on a dating website. I thought of asking others to see if such a man is for real or not.
What does a man on CS have in mind when he asks a woman on this site to meet in person after less than an hour from his first message? Is he for real? Have any of the women here accepted such an invitation?
Of course, one can find true friends online as offline as long as they are sincere. I met my best friend online (on another website) and have been friends for almost 10 years now. We did meet in person a year after talking online. As to CS, I have not been lucky yet, but there is always hope.
Thank you, single_martha and same to you. I joined CS for search and research. At first, I did not know about forums and blogs here, so CS was to build bridges with other people and learn more about human behaviour. Plus, I was and still am open to the opportunity of finding my match here. Ever since I knew about the forums, I have been signing on to participate in them and read what others write. CS is no longer a place full of scammers, but I found a lot of REAL people who are not after money. Maybe friendship will evolve too.
I see what you mean, Migsy and montemonte. Mr. Swami, have you ever thought that I could have had a bad past experience with other dating websites? I was on 2 other dating sites with some pictures and a very detailed profile, but nasty things happened which made me decide to get out of there and keep my profile very brief. Moreover, I do not force anyone to waste their time on viewing my profile. They do it out of their own will.
What is love to you?
Indeed!
