What does a man on CS have in mind when he asks a woman on this site to meet in person after less than an hour from his first message? Is he for real? Have any of the women here accepted such an invitation?
RomanticHumble: He has not even seen my face nor heard my voice. Of course I do not fancy him. We hardly 'spoke'. Hoolet, love? Love has nothing to do with it.
Well.....you´ve answered your own question then..........
RomanticHumble: Does such a man really think women on CS are this desperate?
But some of them are. But then again, desperation might not have anything to do with it.
BTW, I salute the guy. It's too often that women complain about guys mailing and mailing and then disappearing. If he's willing to meet, there's a chance he's confident in who he is and will stand by, who he said he was, to you. I could be very wrong, though... but still.

Well, if he's living just around the corner of you it may be hat he has a lot of common sense and and doesn't see the point in doing the time and energy consuming written bla, bla, bla when he could just meet you in person and find out whether you worth his time. The fact that there's not much to see and learn from you in your profile could indicate that he's either desperate OR is listening to his intuition that you could be the one. I've had one member offering me to come and and visit me. It took him exactly two weeks until he had bought his ticket - around the half globe - so yes, some man are indeed for real!

When dating locally I much prefer to meet ASAP. Better to find out sooner than later whether there is any chance of meeting again. An hour at Starbucks doesn't mean you have to marry him.

Im wondering how online dating is working for people who are so judgmental. I've been on this site for over four years, never met any scammer or desperadoes. Trust you'll always find in live what you expect to find
He is this, he is that, he wants this, he wants that.... As a principle. Probability calculations are good, gives you an Ideea, but you will never no for sure.
If you want to find out for sure you have to check by yourself.
It is a good experience which will teach you a lot.
Some people get married this way. And is very true, if is possible to meet a person in an easy and fast way is better then to delay. I would prefer to take a person out from my mind if is no reason to keep it. Psihological hygiene.

BTW, you have no picure for your profile. Do you expect he will write to you one year long and next to meet you. Who is so stupid? Ask the girls if they would write to a guy without picture. I think that is valid for men too.

Over a few years I have met some people in different places around the globe from this site. But for some reason it has never been around the corner. Not that I would be disappointed to meet someone so close, just hasn't happened.
