with everything going on in the world, should we define "Assertive Men" as someone who looks like a Batman villain who drinks a lot of Redbull....???.. just asking???
I have lived in US, twice (+15 years), and it is a great country, but i don't want to live there anymore. Unfortunately it has changed to, what i call, the "awesome" mentality: way too sensitive, careless consumerism, too many stupid laws (corporations win all the time, not small businesses), etc, etc...money seems to be the only way of solving problems.
But although it is far from perfect, I am really glad I was able to live in America. I loved the open mindedness and diversity of cultures, the business mentality and the incredible sites... and the people..but not for "living"... Europe has a better quality of life: more balanced.
now its getting philosophical more like "Live for the now, prepare for the future, and learn from the past. Also chocolate croissants, and the likes…"...

"It's not about power; it's about commitment",as you said.... a strong person is passionate about life and know what you want and know what is important in life...
