RE: When you don't get your own way

The past is what holds true to the meaning of not getting your own way.
Studies show that what you had grown up with, that is how you are dealing with things now. So when you can't get your own way, check out your past. Think of how you responded as a child. Chances are now that is how you deal with it. Of course my take is WHY BE RIGHT, BE KIND!!!!!!!!!!!lips canada

RE: what do spirits do in the spirit world ? do they watch tv ?

My belief is spirits watch over us. The closer you are to that person, the spirit is strong, and somehow stays with you.lips

Health care at its worse, What would you do?

Our city just had an alert on the television saying how critical it was that people will have at least several hours to wait. Please go get alternatives. Walk-in clinics, your doctor if you can find one. It is only getting worse. The money is not spent appropriately. IT still comes down to you can't breath, chest pain, your turning blue, your stats are low, dizzy, fainting, that will get you immediate care. forget the rest, even the little girl I mentioned about she waited. I gave up my spot. I saw at least three or four people go ahead of her without batting an eye. sigh

Health care at its worse, What would you do?

THIS IS GREAT CANADA IS WHERE THE STATES ARE AND OUR HEALTH CARE IS SUPPOSEDLY Free. Emergency rooms are still a wait. It is always nice to know the taxes are at work. Poor management, greedy sods!!!!!!!!
It was always the saying, if the CEO or management needed a raise,
get rid of a nurse!!!!!!!!!frustrated

Health care at its worse, What would you do?

Your in an walk-in clinic, your waiting for hours, a parent walks in with a child. the child is sick. It's first come first serve,
would you give up your spot for the child, or for anyone that appears sick. You have waited a long time. What would you do? Justlike to see who outs there with this one. Health care at its worse.

RE: If the Mayans were right about 2012...would you be prepared to survive?? You've only got 4 years.

RE: If the Mayans were right about 2012...would you be prepared to survive?? You've only got 4 years.

Hmmmmmmmm a new U.S. Find with me. The states is the only one to turn to that is close by for an emergency. And if we become more tropical, at least the damn cold willdisappear. Or is it an ice age coming? rolling on the floor laughing lips

RE: If the Mayans were right about 2012...would you be prepared to survive?? You've only got 4 years.

Right now in Canada here, the government has commercials to what are you going to do in case of a world crisis. Lets you know a website to go to. Guess we are getting prepared, that's ifyou have access to a computer and can read. The best place to be is probably up north in canada, away from the coast. Water is rising, and islands are disappearing. Get away from the coast. Stay inland and drive north.
That is my idea of a fun time. The land of the great north. Cold, Cold. This winter here where I am seems to be longer then last year and colder. Is that the beginning for us and the end near.

RE: If the Mayans were right about 2012...would you be prepared to survive?? You've only got 4 years.

I Heard that our Earth is already wobbly(is that how you spell it.
Weeble Wobble we all fall down. Wasn't there a song of that, and boy if there was I am showing my age. Oh and what else should I think of on my list please. Those scientists and whoever are already secure and safe.lips

head north, stay there until it is over, oh and of course a weapon of some kind. forget the cash, not important. Probably be about 72 hours. Stay in the bush. Oh for food, canned food, forget the fresh stuff won't last. Plus any medication that would benefit in case of an emergency. First Aid kit, flashlight, wind up radio.
Are you prepared. This has been talked about and debated. Check out Coast to Coast Radio station. Interesting and Enlightening. Will anyone survive, who knows. but the people on EARTH need a wake up call.wave teddybear lips

RE: Ladies would u date a shorter man?

I had to reply to this, I am 5' 11". Your height wouldn't be a problem, it is usually the other way around. Guys shorter then me
don't feel comfortable. I have usually only dated guys that are withing a couple of inches. Plus no High heels. lol.angel

Boycottgas

Ok boycott gas. The idea is to boycott certain oil companies, buy the gas yes but don't buy it at certain gas stations. Boycott one oil company. Please read the website thoroughly. It will work if
everyone applys themselves. keep in touch everyone. And please read the site. thanksapplause

Boycottgas

Will it work. Someone in Ontario is starting a website boycottgas
that will take place in April. 2007.. I believed that prices were going down, not a chance. Are we willing to do something or let the oil companies rule. Lets hope not. There is going to be a rotation of oil companies from what I have read. thumbs up

RE: How often do you buy lottery tickets and do you ever win anything?

I love playing the lottery, I have played for years. Play random numbers and pick numbers too. Don't give up. I buy usually one ticket per one draw. Usually win on the tickets. Not big yet, but I think it is fun just to play and wonder what I will do with the money.cheering yay

Midage crisis for Men?

One thing about the age 18-50, Is a man really looking for an 18 year old girl. If so just say it.

Midage crisis for Men?

Why do men put in their profile age 18-50, and their age is 45- 50.
Are men going through menapause like women.roll eyes If you really want someone 18 why not just say it. And why not say at the same time yes you do want children or don't want children. Am I strange on this topic or do other women find this with men. Some
just can't make up there mine.::dunno:

RE: What have you found in your food?

UMMMM I found a scrubbing brush, you know the wires one in a bowl full of pudding. YUM YUM GOOD. No apology from the server
And my son's girlfriend found wood in a steak she was eating.
That eatery couldn't believe it. Kept questioning her since the place couldn't believe it. Gave her a free desert. Big deal.sigh

RE: gas prices

Well my idea sucked, but at least now I know we are running low on gas around southwestern Ontario. Gas stations are closing. Lots open here but gas at an ultimate high. I do have a malmute (Kita)
and Siberian Husky(Porshua), another dog Bucky. I might be looking
at getting a sleigh to get out.dancing Don't believe those politians out there. Listen to the truck drivers. Even some of them are reporting can't get out to deliver because of the shortage.
Great country since we do have oil refineries in Alberta.sigh

GAS PRICES DRIVE THEM DOWN

cheering My day for not buying gas is THURSDAY. This was tried in the states, someone sent an email saying not to buy gas one day of the week. Or maybe try two days if you can WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY. PUT a note on the dashboard for those two days. Let's
pass this onto everyone you can think of. Work, friends, neighbours, and whoever drives. applause

RE: gas prices

Lets just not buy gas one day a week. Drive the price down.
I recieved an email from someone that started this and stated it would drive the price down. It can only be tried please pass this on to everyone. The day to NOT buy gas will be Thursday. Pass the word it will drive these oil companies mad. THURSDAY IS THE DAYfrustrated
