Ladies would u date a shorter man? (26)

I am a shorter man obviously and find i can be overlooked pardon the pun. LOL A taller women to me isn't a issue and i have been with taller women. Many profiles always looking for the tall men how about the short man is height that big of a deal? I look forward to your opinions

my preference IS taller men, or at least as tall as I, cause I too am 6' tall, just as Lorraine......
HOWEVER, I have dated men who were 5'8" or 5'9"........it was great however, when it came to dancing, even with my shoes off, the "vibe" just wasn't happenin!!!

or maybe a shorter man....Personaly I prefer a man my height or taller. Its nothing personal against someone shorter than me but I just am not attracted to shorter men.
l am only 5'3" so l have no problems dating shorter men since l am not that tall...l couldnt see myself with someone shorter than me though...it would just seem strange to me.

I like a man to be taller than me... I'm 5'5" and I prefer men who are over 5'8" (so I can wear my 2-3 inch heels)... Nothing against any men who are shorter than that.... It's just my preference. 
I've never really had the chance to date a shorter man...I'm just under 5'5", and for some reason I seem to attract guys that are well over 6 feet usually..but honestly, if the attraction was there, I can't see height being an issue with me.
I am 5' 7" and prefer to date men who are the same height or taller... that being said height is like age - so long as there is an attraction who cares!
Thank u for taking the time to voice your opinions. I guess height is a bigger issue than i thought it was. I guess appearance means more sometimes than the person itself. I'm not passing jugdement on anyone because u have to be happy with the person u are with short or tall.
I prefer a bigger guy because I want to hide in his chest and love hugs that make me feel like a little girl.

I'm with you Canadian angel 5'4" most men I've dated have been 5'8" and under....I don't know about dating under 5'

The women that posted their replies on here gave their reasons (and sound ones) as to why a certain height would appeal to them...and none said it had anything to do with appearance or the person, as a matter of fact it was stated that if the "right" person came along the height WOULD NOT be an issue...
There is such a thing as being "small" and having a "large" presence...I know...because i pull that off all the time!!

You know I went out with a short guy he was like 5'6 5'7 somewhere in there. At first it bothered me cause he was the first giy that I dated that was that short. Most guys I dated was over 5'10". So when I meet him it bugged me but then as I got to know him I didnt notice his height.
But thats what everyone should do is get out of their comfort zone and maybe try dating a guy thats short if they never. You could be missing out on the greatest guy ever. I stay with the guy for a couple of years didnt work out, but I am glad that I over looked his height

l agree wikked, l dont judge someone by the way they look. l have dated good looking guys and what people would call normal looking guys...l am vertically challenged 5'3" and really if you thiin about it, there isnt that many men out there that are shorter than l am lol...l dated a guy who was 5'5" and he was a wonderful man, he was sweet, caring and kind and we got along great, he was a drop, dead gorgeous guy but l loved him. So really height has nothing to do with what makes a man, its whats inside his heart that counts...just never met any men who were shorter than l am but wouldnt pass by a man shorter than l am.

you didn't ask us if APPEARANCE was the issue......you just simply asked what we prefer as short men opposed to tall men......it doesn't necessarily mean that we only date those qualities in a man.......
I too, as the other ladies on this forum, have dated men who were 4" shorter than I and they were fantastic relationships that I still have a friendship with today.........

Clay is 5'7"..which is still taller than me...but the shortest man i've ever gone out with...however I can honestly say that he is by far one of the most handsome "drop dead gorgeous" men - inside and out - that i have ever met...and i absolutely adore him...

Ok ladies i am sorry about mentioning appearance that was wrong of me. You are right when i started this i had asked about dating shorter men and that is what i wanted to know. I thank all of u for making comments. I'm not that big of a man that i can't say i am sorry. LOL I welcome more commments and promise i will watch what i say from now on.
