While you were all resting for today's event I was busy chatting up a very nice young man in the bar. It turned out that he was the jealous and over protective type so he followed us in his snow mobile. He came prepared with a rope for us to slide down. As he is a show off as well we were at the top in record time.
I have learned I have not a farting clue about the way relationships work so unless I meet someone as clueless as I am, I shall have to stay single forever.
Starting my very small farm (only 1.72 hectares) project next month. Planning to at least have some chicken for eggs as I am not sure any of us will be able to slaughter it. Not sure I can keep pigs there but again you have to kill them before you can eat them. So think we shall have to keep on buying our meat in nice packets or become vegetarians.
I am very much for both gender being able to do anything around the house. Don't mind working in the garden if I get some refreshments from time to time and need not worry about lunch or dinner.
My grandmother was like that. She would ask my grandfather maybe twice to do something and if it is not done she did it herself. Problem is with no man around I kind of lost track with the whereabouts of my mascara wand.
I am off to bed now as I must pick up Mother for the weekend and the kitchen is still looking like we just moved in today. Paint in the cupboards was not dry enough to put the stuff back.
We are humans first and then men and women. As humans we all have the right to develop our talents and do what we enjoy doing. Dividing jobs according to gender does not make sense at all. We are different in certain ways so we can compliment each other not in order for one to dominate the other. Confusing being in control with being dominating is in my opinion the main problem men and woman have.
Still busy with this house but must start on the other side by the end of this month else we are not going to have a proper house there before winter. Snowing there so living in a tent or caravan is not an option.
Agree fully with you on that. Sharing what needs doing makes it so much easier than dividing jobs according to traditional roles. Not all men are naturally handy and not all women are natural cooks so if the one who can do it best or like doing it most take the lead all can work out fine.
Yes if I can convince my brother to help a bit and get my lazy son to help as well on his days off we can start on the other side by the end of this month.
