In an instant, I would just withdraw from my friends/ person who did that to me. I usually think it over what have I done to deserve all the hurt and after contemplating, I go back to them/him/her and face them/her/him and ask gently " why? why? why? why?"
hey hey hey I was just trying to see the profile of these people.. never intended to vote while I havent seen their pics . How could I know/ see their profile pic but to click on their names lol...
I have been here in Thailand for more than two years but my Thai is as bad as a new comer unlike my friends who came here with me. They speak fluent Thai and can converse with Thai people just like them. Some of them enrolled in language centers that offer Thai Language and they talk with the local people all the time. I'm not that interested that I always ask my Thai friends to do some translation. English is enough for me, its my third language actually and I could speak other few languages other than English.
During my trips to the borders, I came across with other nationalities who are more fluent than my friends. I asked them on how long did it take them to muster the local tongue and some said 6 months, some said one year or more.
The guys are right it depends on how interested u are to learn the local tongue plus get a private tutor or buy books that teach conversation and practice all the time( talk with the people). It may take time but its you who can tell how long one takes u to be fluent.
I've got a new key holder from a colleague at work but I have no spare keys to keep it with. BTW I have 4 extra key holders friends gave me as souvenir before.
We have tall colorful Christmas Trees ( red, green, blue, white), Santa Claus giving candies to kinds and big kids, and lights give more life to the busy Bangkok Metropolitan... but there's still no Christmas... just these lights, Santa Claus and christmas trees but in its real essence Christmas is nothing if you're far away from home and you're alone... and if people don't really know the essence of Christmas!!!
Anyway, you've been here!!!! we'll it's still fun, you know how people live here especially when you're in Bkk. No , I relocated a month ago to Bkk. I used to live in the countryside where my job required me to stay.... actually I'm not really from here.. just an Expat working here.
Merry Christmas and a Happier New Year to you Gilly!!!!
yeah .. I never expected that this would happen to us. The time we spent talking online created a bond that seems like real, giving strength and resolving whatever differences we have despite the distance and age gap.
I think my chances of getting a reconcilation with my internet boyfriend is very low since the day he suggested a break. He said we both need space which I don't think is not a good idea.
