the word wizard was appiled in the past to a male magician or sorcerer. the word comes from the middle english wis meaning wise. the term first appeared in 1440 and was synonymous with "wise man". but the word is not used in wicca
wicca pagan and others. you have to study it for a year and a day ((at least around here you do)) b4 you should even condsider becomming wiccan or pagan.
i left the church and christianity for many reasons and still go back to church every now and then just to see if i can find him again but i havent and ive stoped going back to church. i have my reasons but do not wish to talk about them here. when i found wicca i was lost i didnt know all that much about it in fact i was a witch before i was wiccan. but once i found wicca and really understood what it was about i have never been at peace with myself as much as i am now then when i was searching for god and jesus. like i said b4 everyone walks their own path and instead of going striaght i turned right. all i have to say is im happy now and at peace with myself
it is in many different places b/c when they were taken over they were forced to convert or be killed or tortured until the converted . and it has just stayed in place since then b/c no one wanted the all mighty church to come down on them. and if you wanna talk statistics wicca is one of the fasted growning religions. its just a matter of time before christianity is no longer the majority
i have to say that you are an intersting person to talk to. sometimes i agree with what you say and other times i dont. 50-50 most of the time. and i liked what you said. i dont have a probem with people that have different beliefs from my own i just dont like it when they try to tell me im wrong and they are right. i dont do it to them and i dont want them to do it to me. i have many friends from many different beliefs and we get along just fine. it also annoys me when the christian religion gets called out its wrong but its ok to do the same thing to any other religion. that it is ok for christians to be out shouting and handing out flyers about the word of god but anyother religion were to try and do it then it would stoped or they would get into trouble for it. it like "oh no you cant pass that out its about wicca but he can pass his out its about god" how is that fair?? and when i talk about other religions im talking not talking about judasim or islam im talking about more than one god or goddess or those that have no god at all religions.
"Don't tell me that pagans don't kill" ...pagans do kill just as veryone else but how many times has a pagan or wiccan killed someone because their beliefs differed?? and what so called christian beliefs are you talking about jw that is??

why is christmas celebrated in december when christ is believed to have been born in spring?? it was changed by the church b/c they could not get the pagans to stop celebrating yule which is about the same time. ....ever wonder about the 12 days of christmas how about the 12 days of yule conicidence i dont think so...
ever wonder were easter came from and why we hide eggs?? ostara (eostra) is the teutonic goddess of spring and fertility and easter gets is name from this goddess. eggs have been a symbol of fertility and renewed life since the times of the egyptians and persians and in both cultures they dyed eggs and ate them. ....A wiccan celebrations may include boiled and decorated eggs and some even go on egg hunts and eat chocolate bunnies.
and why is hallowe'en such an evil day??? i already have a thread just for that one so i wont really go into on this one but come on its not a wicked day. in wicca it is the death of the lord and the start of the new year.
so if most of the christian ideas come from the old religion how is it that wiccans and pagans are evil devil worshipers and christians are good kind hearted fellows??
...another little note wiccans and pagans dont worship the devil he is a christian concept and wicca pe-dates christianity so how can a group of people worship something that they didnt know about??
sorry forgot to say that when i was 16 i needed to see someone about my leg. my mother offered to pay for the visit in cash and upfront but they turned us away b/c at the time i didnt have medical insurence. i had to wait march of 07 for anything to be done.

I also know that sticking tail s straight out and having tongues hanging out the other end to maximize space is nothing but sarcasm.
For the last time, there is not a secret exit from the bathroom. If by some miracle I beat you there and manage to get the door shut, it is not necessary to claw, whine, meow, try to turn the knob or get your paw under the edge and try to pull the door open. I must exit through the same door I entered. Also, I have been using the bathroom for years --canine or feline attendance is not required.
The proper order is kiss me, then go smell the other dog's or cat's butt. I cannot stress this enough!

To me, he/she is an adopted son/daughter who is short, hairy, walks on all fours and doesn't speak clearly.
Remember: Dogs and cats are better than kids because they:
1. Eat less 2. Don't ask for money all the time 3 Are easier to train 4. Normally come when called 5. Never ask to drive the car 6. Don't hang out with drug-using friends 7. Don't smoke or drink 8. Don't have to buy the latest fashions 9. Don't want to wear your clothes 10. Don't need a gazillion dollars for college, and... 11. If they get pregnant, YOU CAN SELL THEIR CHILDREN!
im not bad at just small talk is talking to people in general. but it does get easier on here. i figured that out in aug. my 3rd month on here. its easier here in the fourms so just find a thread that floats your boat and join in. it does get easier but it isnt easy at first it takes some time is all. good luck to ya

in that statement im talking about the bible not christians. im talking about the book not the people that follow it. i also said that i could have said it better and appoligized for the way it was said ..same meaning just couldve said it nicer is all . i also said that i know that not everybody is like what i was talking about. but most people are. i know people are different and do not all think alike. i said that in my post. i was not clumping all christians together into one. so please read what people write all the way through and re-read it if you have a problem with it the first time it was read.
mindfful i always enjoy reading what you say. ive never had a problem with it and if i did id ask what you ment. but i know what you mean. i deal with it all day long. and i have to be very careful of what i say when ever im around my mother she tries to read into things that are not there. hope your doing well
thanks you guys.. i started this thread after a couple of things but the thing that got to me the most was a poem that someone wrote on here. it was in the blogs. im not nameing names but i couldnt read that and not say anything on the topic. and like i said before i do not mean to upset anyone on here and i realize what i said about the bible in the first post was a little harsh and i apploigise for saying it the way i did... i was emotional at the time of writing this.
