IMO Schools should be year round. There are many off days. I'm not sure but I think it is the same amount of off days as a regular school year. I remember I couldn't wait for summer break to come. Then came september and I've forgotten a lot of what I spent the last year learning. When school started teachers spend the first quarter reviewing what we learned the previous year.
Also I believe that SOL Standards Of Learning Testing are a waste of time. Teachers have to rush through some things to make sure that everything that will be on the test is taught. If the students miss it or do not understand it too bad. The class keeps going and those who dont get it have to get tutors. Also, I don't know how it is anywhere else but here you have to pass your SOLs to graduate.
I was in car accident last nite. I had the kids I watch with me too. My dad was driving and this suv didnt stop when it should've. Our van is totaled. Everyone is fine ....I got the worst of it...but it is just several brusies. I hate car accidents. I'm just glad no one had to go to the hospital. So how was everyone else's weekend?
I dont have any kids but I know from expirence what it feels like to have a mother put her boyfriends before her kids..because mine did. she would leave when i got home from school and didnt come home until 3 or 4 in the morning. I was 12 and had to raise my 2 yr old brother and younger sisters. then our mother tried turning us against our dad and tryin to force her boyfriend now husband and his family on us. He never liked us and still doesnt and yet she married him. ..oh well she'll leave him when the next poor sap comes along...anyways I have always been pround of single parents male or female that put their kids first. you are doing the right thing and if that person you want to date cant see that then they arent worth your time
like i said personaly the best time to come here is durning the neptune festival. and that is in OCT. The summer is really bad here in the way of prices. but then again there is alot to do here durning the summer.
keep in mind that if Va beach wins nothing goes on until the summer months. I know ive lived here for 19 years. So anytime from june to early sept. its more fun then but it cost alot more and ud have to make ur res. now if you want to stay anywhere decent in the city. otherwise you'll end up somewhere in norfolk... in the fall there is the neptune festival and that is alot of fun and the weather is still nice.
ive been hiding my pain since i was 6. ..when i lost my sister is when it started....ive learned to make my smiles reach my eyes. so people think im really happy when im not. i either try to help others as much as i can ..it gives me less time to think. it hurts alot so i do things that will distract me as much as possible. i'll read for hours on end or draw. lately ive stared typing what hurts me on the computer and saving it on a flash drive. it helps but it also means thinking about it which i dont like to do.

ok so i was listening to the radio today and they were talking about when women who have been hurt in a past relationship put up walls that the new guy has to break down....and they were wondeing why women compare the new guy to the old one and i know where they were comming from. ....but i was wondering if any guys on here are guilty of this.... ive been with a few guys who are and im with one now...anyways so guys do any of ya'll have any trust issues when you meet someone new b/c of what an ex did to you???
we have a golden retiver. and my dad has my 3 ferrets at the moment. they are so cute and a lot of fun. we take them to the park and the beach. but now that it is getting colder we dont take them outside as much. i am hoping to go to the buckeye ferret convention in 09.
so for the last 2 weeks ive been nauseous.....b4 i eat , after i eat, when i wake up, when i go to bed, when im in the car, while im walking, while im reading and watching tv.....idk what it is from. i thought it may be a stomach bug but for 2 weeks?? and it seems to get worse every day. ive come close to throwing up this moringing a few times and ive only been up for about 3 hrs.....so i ask any ideas??
Most guys just wanna get laid. they will say whatever they can to do that. but once they figure out its not gonna happen they turn tail and go find someone else that will. again that is most guys not all and there are some really nice guys out there. i know i found one
I do not believe that religion has much to do with divorce rates. I believe that most of the fault belongs to a few different things. One being people that get married when the have only known eachother for about a year. Two being young couples that do not understand what they are getting into. Again the fact that young couples do not really know the other person. Third being money issuses. Couples that have to struggle tend to argue more. Debating on what the money should be spent on.
here its alot different. ...her husband is deployed so she cant file charges or file for divorce or do anything really until he gets back in about a month. but when he gets back he is already going to be arrested for harrassment. and now fraud and idenity theft. ..but she is really worried about losing her kids ...
