well the fist person to discover america was christopher columbus and that was by accident. then the first colony was located on Roanoke Island on North Carolina's Outer Banks. it latter became the lost colony. after that there was james town in 1607 which is in virginia. they were from england and thats about as far as im going in this history lesson b/c it is almost 3 am and im about to go to bed.
i am not offended that others do not share my belief i was offended by the way she spoke of what i believe. i did not read th bible in search of faults with it. in fact the first few times was to find anwers but i never found them. you can believe what you want that does not bother me it how people treat others that differ in beliefs of the own. im not easily offened trust me if i was i would no longer be on this site.

I have read the bible many times for the fact that i want to know what it is that i argue about. you cannot talk about the truth b/c you do not know the truth just as i dont know the truth. you do not speak the truth you speak what you believe as do i. its b/c of people like you that others like me do not speak out about their beliefs b/c they do not want to be attacked. in not one of my posts have i ever attacked anyone or spoken down to someone even if i didnt agree with them. which has happened more than once on this thread alone. there is a way to express what you BELIEVE without belittleing others. i do not want to change a persons mind on their beliefs and i do not try to. if i were id be trying to shove it down peoples' throats and im not that kind of person nor is it the wiccan way. how is it you feel as if you have the right to denounce my faith in what i believe when i strongly doubt that you know nothing or very little about wicca. i am very offended with what you had to say and i know that you are not sorry for what you said but what you did was very rude
no one can know it god is real or not. i dont think so. i dont believe in the bible. i not out to change anyones mind on what they believe. i believe in many gods and ask them for help when i need it and thank them afterwords. i dont have to live up to saintly expectations and i can be myself with all my faults and still be loved. i wear my pentagram proudly and dont plan on changeing that any time now or in the future.
it has had the result that it does b/c when it first started out poeple were killed to be made examples of the convert or die thing or they were tortured until they converted. they struck fear into people and converting. come on lets face it it is either convert or spend the rest of enturnity in the firery pits of hell. now which sounds better?? and heres something for ya most of christianity themes comes from paganism/wicca.
wow ....hmm were to start on this on.. the earth is alot older than 6,000 years. that is a fact. dinosaurs were around OVER 65 MILLION years ago. i dont think science could be off by that much. and the oldest human remains are about 200,000 years old. last i checked both those numbers are more than 6,000. i think of the bible as a story and nothing more. i do believe that some of the things happened like a great flood but that flood didnt cover the whole earth but a small part of it. i think the rest was mistransulated and added to scare poeple into following the church's will. i not christian and havent been for over 10 years. ive been wiccan for 7 years now and im very happy.
but mountians have not always been where they are today. if i remember correctly that they are made by converging into eachother making one mass of land go under the other making the other land mass rise making mountians.
there were also glaciers durning the ice age and when ther started moving thaty very well could have carved out valleys and some starts of mountain ranges.
and in those areas there may have been sea life that was pushed up with the land and later died and became fossils.
and the people living so long back in biblical times years were measured differently then they are today. and then you say it has decreased to what it is today but if you compare today to the 1500's we are living longer than they did. and it wasnt everyone in biblical times that lived that long only a select few.
as for the dinosaurs walking with humans bit ummm dinosaurs became extinct 65 million years ago and the oldest human findings are only about 200,000 years old. so im not seein as how they can walk together. now it is possible that the dinosaurs walked that path( in i believe you said texas) and then humans walked along that same path millions of years later. making it seem as though they were around at the same time.
and as for the ark i do not see it possible for 2 of every animal to be on it. one it would weigh too much and could have possibly sank. two how did he get all the animals to him? three how did he get animal native to only north america, australia, and other such places that they didnt even know existed?
now there is proof that a great flood did happen but only in the place near where noah was thought to live at the time and that was what he considered the world.now it is possible that he did have a boat with his family on it and some animals on it but not 2 of every kind.
yes but b/c im into those things myself but id also talk him into goin to a club every so often b/c i enjoy that too. in or out doesnt bother me as long as we are hanging out together and having fun.

I know excatly how you feel. Im like that. I always give. And I know people that only talk or hang out with me when they need something , but when I need them completely different matter. they are always too busy or cant be bothered with it. You just need to figure out who your true friends are and those that only want to use you. Once you do that forget about the users and stick to your true friends. hope that helps some.

no one can prove it without a doubt. you have to believe in it. so what i believe in is just that what I BELIEVE IN not what you or someone else believes in. every1 differs in their beliefs so to ask for solid proof then i think you are wasting your time. if you want solid proof go out and find it yourself b/c i think it is almost impossible to find absolute, solid, without a doubt proof. ive said it many times i believe in many gods and goddess and no i cant offer you any proof that they exist.
