I was just wondering?

If an american that is 2 generations removed from ireland and thinking of moving their family back how would they be received by the newest generations of ireland?

I know I don't live in Ireland but I like to visit the forums in here every so often and I saw your thread and I will tell you my thought on this subject! I have dated men from both sides the too nice and the bad boy, but I think that that alot of the female population might agree with me on this aspect. Many of us like our men to be the romantic and to treat us like a goddess. Then there is always that wanting of a man that has a little of a dark side within him, a little mystery. I think that most women want a guy that has equal amounts of both types of man! If you achieve this my dear I think that you won't have any problems keeping a woman at your side! I say this because that is what I look for in a man alot of the time! A man that can be mysterious and dark but not scary yet again he can turn into a kind and romantic god that will carry me off into paradise at the same time! I do hope that this helps you some! I like a guy who can approach me, I used to be the one who would make the first move but I have found that guys don't like that all the time so now I let them approach me!

You are not selfish you are just asking for advice to help a friend that you care about and as far as I am concerned if that was me I would be wanting you to do the same.

But something like this can be masked for a time but comes back time and time again. There is no over night solution. The girl is telling people that she wants to die. That is serious especially when she has already attempted it once. She's calling out for help and is basically asking her friend for it in a round about way. A friend is a friend and if you let her mask it for a time then exactly what kind of friend are you. Its a chemical embalance that causes depression or having been in a situation that would cause the onset of depression not just needing a vacation.

For something like depression that is severe enough that one thinks that they must take their own life, there is something wrong. She is probably afraid to tell you about. My suggestion is that if it is the same there to get her committed to a psych ward/mental instution for an evaluation. That way there is no way for her to harm herself under 24 hour supervision and the doctors can help her figue out what is wrong or she can talk about what may have happened. Where I am from it takes either two friends or family members to committ a person. You need to find out what it would take there.She needs help and being a friend you can help her seek it. She may say that she hates you etc at first but in the long run she will be grateful that she no longer is feeling suicidial and you will feel better for helping her. If you don't know what exactly you need to do call your family doctor tell them the situation and they will let you know how to go about things to get them done. Trust me leave it to the people who know how to handle this kind of thing or it could go bad and you can't be there 24/7. You don't want your friends death on your mind, get her help that is why it is called friendship you are there when she needs you and right now its evident that she is screaming out for help.Otherwise she would not be telling you that she no longer wants to live.She wants help, so find a doctor who knows what you can do!

Dusty Rose is still here and with a new bundle of joy!!

For all of you that know me, I will clue you all in on what has been happening in my life in the last couple of months! Well as of August 17th, I am the proud new mother of a new bouncing baby boy. I love him just as much as his older brother and we are all doing quite well. I am engaged to my older sons father. I have lost 75 pounds for those of you that remember what I looked like if I have time one of these days I might post another pic. I was very sick thru the pregnancy that was why I wasn't on here. I just wanted to come on and let you all know what has been going on in my life since I last talked to you all. I hope you are all well and happy!! I know that I am!!

Very true I was born here in Iowa and I am told that I sound as if I am from the south. I don't hear it but from what I am told between the accents in my family and from my travels I have picked up a distinct accent that is really from nowhere as my friends from the south say that I sound as if I was raised in another country at times but not from the north. Weird huh!

Yes its a nice place and I have many friends that I have made here and I enjoy hearing from them its just that I haven't been anywhere near the net so that I could talk to them or make new friends here in the forums.

Sorry that I haven't been on for so long but things have prevented me from doing so. Basically I have been really sick! I have missed everyone on here that I know and am friends with and I hope that you all have been well!

How I wish I could be in Florida again! I loved the feel of the sand in my toes and the ocean gathering around my legs when the tide comes in and then the smell of the air that flows around you as you stand taking in a beautiful sunset! Oh how I wish to be on the beach once more!

Your welcome always willing to help out. Funny thing is we just had to go over all this again the other day at work so it was all fresh in my mind. Only thing is that the goverment here is trying to make it mandatory for all truck drivers to have a passport just to go from state to state which if you ask me is a bunch of bull considering we would be the only ones that it would be mandatory for! Government is always trying to make it hard for us truckers!

Claire I travel all the time and I have to always update on the passport deal because of my job even though it requires travel on the ground. When flying in the US from state to state the only id required for us is a regular id, a passport is only needed when travelling out of the country (US)! You see since I am a truck driver which the law in question I think also pertains to, I now must have a passport to travel into Canada or Mexico where as before this law I didn't need to have one to make my deliveries. But I say this since you are from another country and might be traveling in ours it is a good idea to always keep all of your identification on you! The answer that you are looking for A passport is only needed to travel in and out of the country not within it otherwise I would have to obtain one just to keep my job but since I only travel within the Us I don't need it! I hope that this answers your question!

Will try but it depends on how I feel! Right now I can barely stand to be in the truck I get sick from all the motion! Not a good thing since my job depends on me moving all the time!
