you are one of the folks I just posted the new forum on about cyberbulling I really don't understand how someone can be so unhappy and so unsatisfied in their own lives that they have to create drama just to be noticed why you assume YOUR drama is welcomed here will be a mystery until the end of time maybe you did not get enough attention as a child and you assume ANY attention is better than none? my advice to you is simple GET A LIFE
I am wondering why it is that so many folks that come on to these forums are doing NOTHING but cyberbullying with their hate-filled comments The comments I so frequently see posting have NOTHING to do with whatever the topic is about and EVERYTHING to do with simply being cyberbullies. I can even narrow it down to about half a dozen of the people who are usually behind these hate-filled comments. I am betting those of you reading this are WELL aware of who those few folks are on here too
At what point do we all stop and realize that EVERY person is entitled to one thing in life, their own opinion. If someone post their own opinion, if you don't like what they say, don't just put some smart-assed comment or, worse yet, cyberbully them. A simple "I disagree" and perhaps a brief synopsis of why you disagree would suffice
As for the attacks on the religious posting. WHY?!?!?! No one here is trying to have you conform to their religion, they are simply posting what their own personal belief is. Since when is God not welcomed some place?? Don't believe in God?? Then why are you reading the religious post to begin with? No one asked you to. It was YOUR choice.
But why is it that so many on here want to attack other peoples points of view?
Let's all take a step up and stop the cyberbullying.
why do you expect God (not "god" or "jesus" but God AND Jesus) but why do you assume He is not there? Why do you want to say He is doing nothing. God gave man freedom to choose how to spend their time on earth here. So why not ask MAN what he has done lately?? and for the naysayers who claim they don't believe in God, it's ok. He believes in YOU
maybe if you posted a pic of yourself it would get someone to respond more often. I sure would not be relying on any "match" sort of thing if I were you. I mean you know yourself far better than any site like this that would try to "match" you but I ask you this; do you really want to meet someone who would not even respond to you?
I thought I saw the option to remove whatever the poster had showing as what they wrote on the ecard, but I could be wrong I have begun posting them without a caption showing by making the font the same color as the back ground, then I just post it under whatever category it would fall under (funny, friendship or whatever) I have almost as much fun finding the ecards image to use as sending them to a friend. I am sort of wondering if a lot of folks don't use the ecard option as it does seem a bit tricky to send them out on here and then to limit it to just one a day, that makes it hard to choose what you want to say to someone via the ecard I wish this site would make it easier for folks to use the cards and then maybe more folks would send them out. I finally figured out how to send them to someone who is not on my friends list, if I choose to, you just have to enter the username of the profile you want to send them to. I reckon I will still keep playing around with the ecards on here but hope that others will start using them more too. How fun it is to send someone a smile :)
as forum TOPICS means just that...a TOPIC and NOT a place to create drama, I do believe I will continue to 'hide' comments that are left by those that like to do nothing but create drama as you and I have NEVER talked, and you don't know the first thing about me, I find it HILARIOUS that you seem to think you are an expert on my life why not go concern yourself with your own forum where you can create a world of drama none is welcomed here it does amaze me at the narrow mindedness of some of the folks that are coming over to this post NOT to contribute to the topic. but to show they have no life and want to do nothing but create drama with unnecessary crap it is the narrow mindedness and the people who can't see the world from outside their own little point of view that creates the drama online. it is as if you are somehow excusing the behavior of folks who assume they can tell someone what to post, what to say, how to think or anything like that the greatest thing we all have is our own opinion. when someone post a forum topic, if you have no opinion on that topic, and I am SURE this will be difficult for some of the drama queens on here, but if you don't have a contributing statement that is valid to the topic at hand, try this raise your hand now place it over your mouth
get a clue. everyone is NOT here for the same reason as you. and for you to try to dictate to me why I should or should not be here, only goes to show the world that you have no life and you never looked in the mirror and saw that you are so far from perfect, so who are you to give advice to ANYONE
start with yourself and your own issues I am SURE that will keep you busy for many life times to come
and considering I dont know a single person who came on here running their mouth with comments that had no place on this forum, it clearly shows where the drama queens that create so much of the crap on here are coming from
thanks for showing what a narrow mind you have I do believe I will hang around ANYWHERE I please and I wont be needing YOUR permission to post what I choose perhaps it is YOU who needs to find another place to 'hang around' as it is folks like you that are so narrow minded that you can not fathom someone having a different opinion, or using a site for a different reason, than yourself but thanks for showing us all how narrow your own point of view is
I am happy to know that I am not the only one to use the ecards. I am sure your friends smile when they get them thanks for taking the time to post a reply on here ali110
I am not sure tolerant is the word I would say that is so needed as much as understanding. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion but, as often times seen here in the forum postings, someone who voices their own opinion is often attacked by others who can't seem to see outside their own point of view, henceforth, making them intolerant of the other person. I think if folks stop to understand that everyone on the planet gets to have their own opinion, and though it may be different than our own, if their opinion does not affect our own personal life, than what is the harm of them having a different point of view? I think this was a great topic to post and I hope folks continue to share a point of view on this subject and not turn it into a place that they just leave their smartassed comments on
I am not saying it is not your right to choose to do whatever works best for you Miss C. I do want to throw this thought out to you. Perhaps you are blocking out the bad but perhaps you may also be blocking out some of the good Mostly I just wish for you to be happy and to do what you need to do to cope with the world as I do understand it to be a hard place sometimes my only wish for you is that you are happy in whatever you choose to do :)
I am glad you got to send your son a card. that was sort of my point about being able to send them to someone we care about. The idea of breaking the ice, I still think, is a great way to start. find a funny ecard and send it to someone you may want to get to know. I also like that you can send them to someone off the site. that's a unique feature of this site that I have not seen on some of the other sites.
thanks for taking the time to respond.
I do wonder also, off this topic, what makes you opt not to hear from folks all over the world?? I leave my message open as I do enjoy hearing from folks from all over. I am just curious as to why you would opt not to accept the messages. feel free to drop me a message if you want and we can talk about that there. who knows, maybe we even open up another forum post on that topic. it is nice to share thoughts and see why folks make the choices they make on how they spend their time online :)
I sure get what you mean about folks not responding to emails as that often happens. but the way I saw these cards is as a great way to send a friend a smile. I enjoy finding funny pics, turning them into ecards, or whatever a site refers to the ecards as, and sending them to some friend who perhaps needs a smile or encouragement. it also tends to be a good way to start a quick chat with someone who may only have a moment available to catch up I was a bit surprised on this site not to see the ecards utilized more so I thought I would ask folks why they do or don't use them. I can sure understand why you would not use them much if folks don't respond to the emails. The not responding thing we ought to post in another topic and find out why folks choose to not respond. I try to respond to every email but, again, perhaps we start another topic on that one too lol
as this is a topic, meaning that folks talk about what the topic is, the ONLY post I hid were the ones who OBVIOUSLY are ONLY here to create drama and flap hot air through their lips in order to see what sort of reaction they get their drama is not welcomed here. this is a topic about what makes someone send or not send an ecard what I CHOSE to remove were those types of comments. what we consider to be the drama queen sort of things. the post that some folks who have no life and no clue that other folks use the net to actually share ideas and not see nonsense posted that has nothing to do with the topic if you care to create a post that has nothing but nonsense and drama on it well that one is on you for me, I choose to hear valid responses to the topic so go off with your little drama queens if that is your choice you have the freedom to CHOOSE to not reply to someone's topic. what you don't have is the right to dictate what responses are shown in that topic when the only ones that are being hidden are the ones that have NOTHING to do with the topic and EVERYTHING to do with the crap drama that some folks who don't have much of a life, choose to do online I take a stance against that sort of crap so I welcome you to not so much as have to read another of my post it's simple you see something with my name on it you don't click to see what is there although I have taken the time to respond to you, I neither am obligated nor desiring to defend my own options to post any topic I choose and if the responder is someone seeking nothing but attention who has nothing constructive to add to the topic, the YES I REMOVE THAT NONSENSE FROM THE POST
so far I have only sent them to friends but on other sites, it is a common way that friends exchange greetings. we tend to find funny pictures and send them to each other. of course there is no limit on the number of them we can send on other sites but thank you for sharing your thoughts on this
ummmm the thank you was NOT to you serene56. I actually thought your response had NOTHING to do with the question. what your response showed was that you seem to want to do nothing but create drama where none is wanted. I strongly suggest you get a life but what I suspect will happen is you will continue to flap hot air through your lips as you don't appear to understand how to follow a topic nor do you appear to have anything intelligent to say my response was to the man who stated that he thought sending flowers was a better option I do hope however that you seek help for your obvious issues about following and participating in a subject as we have enough drama online and you are one of the folks who appear to like to feed into the unwanted drama sorry, no players in your sick little game here
I would think that you can say so much more with a card that says something to a person online than to send them a virtual flower. But thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts
I am wondering why more folks on this site don't seem to use the ecards much. I think it can be a fun way to make a friend smile or even to break the ice with someone. What are your thoughts on this?
I am trying to figure out why, if no one is running this country the way you see fit, why not run for office yourself?? I am NOT a fan of plastic palins or even a fan of politics but if you have ideas you think would make the running of America better, why not run for office yourself??
i tend to agree with your sentiments. Why hold on to pics of old girlfriends. if nothing else, you are hurting your womans feelings and right or wrong, that ought to matter a LOT. but are they not exes for a valid reason or is it that a man would regret not being with the ex for some reason.
if there were kids in the pics or other people, that's one thing to be holding on to a pic that will be passed on to either children or good friends when you pass away.
but the bottom line, to me, is not rather or not the general population thinks it is ok, if the woman is worth it, her feelings need to come first. I bet mostly she just wants to understand why you feel the need to have the pics when they are, after all, exes for a reason
one more thought and maybe it is just me, but it would creep me out if my ex was holding on to pics that had only me in it.
until I get my landings a bit more perfected, I learned to keep both feet on the ground however, would be AWESOME to see this pic live, as it was happening
my vision is not that good to see the details up close but it may have more info about those spots in one of the other articles this pic has been posted on. I just saw the story, I think it was yesterday. the pic was just so opposite to the way I always thought of viewing the Earth, I also got to see a pic, some time ago, that was taken from the Voyager space probe that we, here in the USA launched 35 years ago, as it was leaving our solar system and looking back towards the earth here is one of the articles that shows to pic from that view
I found this photo interesting and thought, perhaps, some of you would too. It was taken by a Chinese spacecraft looking back towards Earth from the far side of the moon
The Earth hangs like a white and blue bauble in the black of space, distant and heart-achingly beautiful. Much closer lies the Moon, gray and white and black, its more-unfamiliar far side facing the spacecraft as it rounds the world, preparing to head back to Earth. For just a fleeting moment I could have been convinced someone had added a photo of the planet Mercury here; the Moon’s obverse half is so strikingly different than the near side. The lack of dark maria (except for Mare Moscoviense to the upper left) makes the Moon look like every bit the alien world that it really is.
RE: Missing Americans
nowe have enough issues to deal with in the usa without airing them here lol
