I had it 7 years ago... and my eye sight has been perfect up until the past year, and ive noticed its not as good at night now and not as sharp, so I dont like driving at night now... (I was short sighted)
but given the choice I would go ahead and have it done again..
I paid £1000 per eye (I dont know what that is in $ ....
its worth going for a consultation though as thats normally free, and you might find its 'from' 400 per eye, so it might be more..

Some cats are not scared of dogs, my 2 cant arnt, they run up to my dogs and want to play with them, even though my big dog will some times chase them (but never harms them)
If I go for a walk with the dogs, the cat sometimes follows and if it sees another dog it will walk right up to it..
maybe this cat was the same, but your dog killed it, its just nature and these things happen..
